I do realize that this will never happen, but…

I realize that this is unlikely to ever happen and probably never will; but, how would you react to “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” being syndicated to Nickelodeon (in the US)? Perhaps MLP Generation 1?

To some, this could be weird; others, it could be interesting. Still, others would rather see it stay with “The Hub Network” as it’s one of the shows that make The Hub Network a better place on Television than most other places considered more “mainstream”. ;)

Personally, I’d rather see the show (at least season 1) syndicated to local TV stations to help fill their broadcast requirements for E/I programming (they can use the E/I season 1 episodes; and it’s not too late for the rest of the episodes to become E/I accredited).

I would not want Nickelodeon handling a show that I love, let's be honest Nick's situation currently when it comes to their shows are really declining badly and it's really sad.

Syndication just means letting other stations get to play re-runs.

That's fine then, I won't have a problem with it.

I still agree with you though. Nickelodeon has really gone downhill under the rule of today's Viacom (which I can tell is causing Nickelodoen to focus too much on pleasing the target audience, instead of just letting Nick be Nick) and really needs better management (a group of people should form a Co-Op and buy Nickelodeon from Viacom). I myself have a couple of ideas.

That's easier said than done, if you ask me. Nickelodeon's direction has been going downhill which is true, but trying to buy Nickelodeon from Viacom will come at a price that could be a challenge for some.

Just as long as it wasn't Cartoon Network.

Knowing them, they'd just cancel it mid-Season-1 or so, and then replace it with a bulls*** version that sacrificed interesting characters for "humor" that only toddlers and middle-aged retards could like...

'Tis the same with Cartoon Network, most if not all the shows on CN are just horrific and terrible!

I would love it to be on more local stations. DirecTV won't let me have the Hub, so I have to watch mlp at friends houses/online, and I'm sure other have this problem.

Two things:

1.) The original Teen Titans was on for five seasons.

2.) F*** You, Teen Titans Go! is awesome.

As an example, the destruction of Sponge Bob.

I can understand that as well; Spongebob should have ended a long time ago, but Nickelodeon is over-milking Spongebob and getting results that at least not everyone can enjoy (and what Nickelodeon is turning to today isn't going to help them get off Spongebob).

Well, yeah but Cartoon Network is trying at least a bit better than Nick is doing right now.

Not quite, I mean c'mon, what's with Adventure Time, Gumball and Regular Show, I was told by a friend of mine, that the creators of both Adventure Time and Regular Show were on drugs when they came up with it. Then you have all those live-action shows now, so you can hardly call it 'cartoon' network these days, what ever happened to good shows like Dexter's Lab, CN:KND, PowerPuff Girls, etc..?

Generations and people grow up from time to time, and as time moves on they would have to move on from the shows that they grew up with but they still enjoy watching it these days even when it's not on Cartoon Network anymore.

Drugs? Tell that to the creator of Uncle Grandpa.

To me, Cartoon Network has become, what I call, 'an "adult swim" made for children'. You can tell in the way the channel is branded (it reminds me of something you would have seen on G4 or the real "Adult Swim"), and the elements of the shows (such as what they call "transitional profanity").

I actually saw the Adventure Time pilot (aired on Random Cartoons) and found it much much better than what came out of Cartoon Network (which I stay away from). I can tell that Adventure Time would have been more enjoyable (and not ridden with "Adult Swim" elements) had Nickelodeon picked it up when they had the chance.

Well i wasn't sure if he was joking about the drugs, but it sure as hell does seem like it, and I agree, but CN could at least keep the quality up, instead of declining rapidly with crap like those aforementioned shows. Now, this is all in my opinion, but i just don't find shows like I mentioned before to even be remotely funny or interesting.

Regular Show = a modern version of beavus and butthead

Amazing World of Gumball = I don't even know what to say about this show.. CRAP! I mean come on, the theme is always the same, the humor is dry and can be quite crude as is the animation, if I wanted to watch badly animated crude humor, I would watch South Park, thank you very much.

Adventure Time: Crude humor, not interesting, theme is the same and yeah...

I'm okay with what you think about them. I never liked the Amazing World of Gumball anyway.

The only reasons I even care about Adventure Time are the Ice King and the Lich.

More like "Uncle BLANDpa"!

Exactly; that's my same reaction to CN's recent "humor."

Both Nick and Cartoon Network are declineing in their show quality....

Just unfortunate

ON Topic:

I think the only way that this would ever benefit the show is due to how much more mainstream Nick is.

It may get more viewers.

It must be because of the new shows and the shows that need to die already, pretty unfortunate and I guess it happens.

Mainstream? I agree.
