I stopped paying attention since Morty battles but I'm back in it for this Elite Four quest.

 

Watching democracy not only swap out LazorGator's rare candy for an ice berry, but to then apply the rare candy to Onix to evolve him into Steelix was a thing of beauty.

 

Now we're consistently making it through to Karen, although the team is pretty wiped out. Gen II's E4 may be under-leveled but their battle strategy is much improved over Gen I.

If you guys stopped following, we gathered all 8 Kanto badges and are now in Mt. Silver

 

RED has his exact team from TPP 1, down to the same levels. We've fought him 3 times but got #REKT by Zapdos a.k.a. Battery Jesus each time

nevermind, they're not the same levels, they're the high 81, 77, 73, 74 etc. levels real Red had in G/S/C

 

Zapdos is 81

ATV is 77

Lord Helix was 73

Air Jordan was 74 I think

Of all the things to raise a huge party about, it's watching a group of idiots fight over control of a character in a game released 15-ish years ago. It's not fun, it's not original. If I wanted to dick around in a Pokemon game and walk around aimlessly bumping into shit, I would've just blindfolded myself. There is nothing interesting about this, people.

Couldn't agree more. It baffles me how people find amusement in this. Don't get me started on the memes. Why would anyone with common sense think giving control of one character to over 10,000 people would be a good idea? There is a bunch of trolls out there that would purposely make mistakes to anger the other people. I'm surprised they managed to beat the champion.

Yeah. I would also guess people joined in the first two streams for the nostalgia purpose. I doubt they'll make it past the 5th gym leader in the Emerald walkthrough. Norman's Slaking is quite beastly!
