Guest January 25, 2015 Share January 25, 2015 I am not a fan of the scenes featuring winged Rarity in 'Sonic Rainboom'. What makes it worse is that Rarity started the episode as very empathetic and perceptive of RD's struggle, only to have the Rarifly/Lipstick Pone scenes somewhat undermine that. :okiedokielokie: Fluttershy making Pinkie and Rarity cry in 'Putting Your Hoof Down' is another scene I really didn't like. Heartbreaking stuff for all ponies involved, including Fluttershy
RainbowTashie 378 January 25, 2015 Share January 25, 2015 That one scene in ACW did it for me, especially when Celestia ditched her own student. I was like sad and angry at the same time. I was like "Celestia you b****" Shw should've known Twily had good reason In "Sleepless in Ponyville" when Rarity made Sweetie Belle carry around that luggage. That was the most OOC moment in the series. From an episode instead of a writing standpoint, it's in "Suited in Success" when Rarity has her breakdown. Rarity was pure gold there, don't get me wrong; but fuggin' Rainbow Dash was hella insensitive. "I'm a laughing stock" "She kinda is" It was partly her fault, as well. Seriously; there's a fine line between being honest and being a bitch. More reasons why Dash should be honesty not loyalty I'm not fond of: The moment in ACW when even Celestia ditches Twilight. The moment in Three's A Crowd when RD goes on about "a big ball of lame" (or words to that effect). idk, it just seemed to cross into bitchy to me. Pinkie climbing the wall in Filli Vanilli - less random and more plain creepy! Most of MMMystery On The Friendship Express annoys me - they're all so horribly irresponsible! Yeah triple M just grinded my gears it was just a bad episode imo. The fact that, for an entire episode, Pinkie couldn't talk, doesn't seem so bad when you realise she couldn't eat. that;s just plain cruel. The worst bit is that nopony even gave a flying feather about her! - The scene in Winter Wrap Up where Applejack made Twilight cry for getting the job done quickly and more effeciently..... This is the main reason I hate AJ so much - The scene in Magic Duel where Trixie pretty much terrorized Ponyville for no goddamn reason. C'mon, they did nothing to ya, you crazy bitch! - The scene in A Canterlot Wedding where everyone gets mad at Twilight and leaves her. It's just so deppressing to see her best friends, her brother and Celestia just put her down like that :'( - And finally, my most hated scene.... THE OPENING OF EVERY EPISODE. No, seriously, I hate that fucking opening. I just find it embarassing Twily did kinda do her out of a job but Twixie should have just said she was an entertainer and not a magician to begin with. Could you like me the AJ mean moment I don't remember seeing it Forgot to say, not the biggest fan of the way their relationship has been handled so far. I'll just post "all of their scenes" in addition to what I've already said Thanks for reminding me, man! I love their relationship what's wrong with it? I hated the Canterlot Wedding Scene as well. There's a whole rant about it on my profile page. I just don't understand how all of Twilight's friends could abandon her, siding with somepony they'd known for ONE DAY. :okiedokielokie: She has the last laugh in the end though I've always disliked CMC episodes about their cutie marks, but thats all because of the one scene where it makes it painfully obvious what each of their talents are and they never realise it. I only wish they could have been more subtle into introducing their actual talents, and not make it into a bad joke :I I'm with you here if their talents weren't so obvious it might actually be engaging to watch and have a guess what their cutie marks were going to be . But the way they have shoved it in your face make it such a facehoof everytime there's a cmc episode ;/ The scene in the show stoppers where the CMC sing their song. I got such second-hand embarassment. Pinkie Pie in Fili Vanili because at this point in the show Pinkie should know better. When you'r a YOUNGER PONY AND YOUR FLANK IS VERY BARRRE! I love this song it's meant to be awkward and embarassing and Sweetie's mane in that it gorgeous! Spitfire becoming Lightning Dust 2.0 in Rainbow Falls. BRING THIS BACK, SHOW: Yeah i pretty much hated spitfire after that. It's a shame really she's a sweet lookin' pony Mermaid Man would believe her anyway Ok that made me chuckle a li'l bit Yes, Applejack made Twilight cry. However, the whole basis of Winter Wrap up is to wrap up winter without magic. It's been the tradition of Ponyville ever since it was founded as a town and for Twilight to come in and use her magic just because she was feeling insecure and wanted to be part of it was really ignorant of Twilight to do, even if she had the best intentions. It's not much more different than if someone who celebrated Christmas tried to push their own traditions and stuff into Hanukkah just because they didn't feel like they fit in. And the reason she cried is not because she was yelled at, it was because she was caught and embarrassed. It was already explained that Ponyville did do something to Trixie. When Twilight showed her up and got rid of the Ursa, Ponyville mocked and humiliated Trixie out of town. Not only that, but they spread the word of her failure so that everywhere she went, she was ridiculed and made a laughing stock. Had I been in Trixie's hooves, I would have done something similar. If you think about it... it kind of makes sense for them to get upset at Twilight because she's not only acting like an overly possessive sister but she was also ruining a time in Cadence's life that is supposed to be perfect and happy. The other ponies didn't know she was anything but the real Cadence and they also hadn't seen her be rude or indifferent. When you're the only person who has witnessed something, it's going to be hard to convince people otherwise. However, I don't believe they should have necessarily abandoned her, per se, but rather try to talk it out with her and maybe try to find the root of the problem. But it was convenient for the episode's sake so it had to happen, unfortunately XD Lel ima use ma magics surely it's a bit racist(whatever ponies call it) for unicorns to not be involved since unicorns seem to have existed as long as the earth ponies have Spike singing the anthem. The CMC' song. Flutterguy singing in front of everypony. Yeah spike was just cringeworthy Aaaaaaannnnd it's with this post I realize most "hated" characters on the show are hated on because they made another character cry or breakdown it some point in the series even if it was (and usually is) inadvertantly. Fluttershy is often cited as being hated because of 'Putting Your Hoof Down' (wasn't herself) Rarity is usually hated because of 'Sonic Rainboom' (inadvertant, because she was caught up in the attention) Pinkie is still under fire for 'Filli Vanilli' (inadvertant, she can't read social cues well) And now AJ for this (inadvertant, Twi blames herself NOT AJ, and AJ's stubbornness was in full force) GOOD CHARACTERS MAKE MISTAKES, BECAUSE THEY HAVE FLAWS!!!! IF NOT THEY ARE AT THE VERY LEAST CHALLENGED BY THE WORLD AROUND THEM!!! if they were all perfect beings there would be no show so brohoof:D 1 Sig tweaked to perfection by Coby! Okay, AJ, stop right there, you just told the element of genorousity, someone who made you a dress for free for the Triple G, to stop being selfish even though Sweetie-belle was the one being selfish in that scene. "I just want to spend time with my sister" somehow changed without transition "I want to do what I want". This was also written by Cindy Morrow and I have a distaste for her episodes to begin with. It's especially ironic because AJ is the one who takes what others say at face value while Rarity is the one who looks at the underlying motives. From Sonic Rainboom when she suggests supporting Dash: "She was tootin her own horn louder than the brass section of a marching band!" "I've put on enough fashion shows to recognize stage fright when I see it." Seems like a total role reversal. I wouldn't say it's bad though because Rarity and AJ's family dynamics are clearly very different from their day to day friend dynamics.
RainbowTashie 378 January 25, 2015 Share January 25, 2015 Not in order: Pinkie Pie's scenes in Filly Vanill. She can get away with her bad behavior in the beginning, but when you knowingly repeat the same thing, it turns her into an idiot. It doesn't matter if she was in character or not. What she did was wrong and made her look unlikeable for the wrong reasons. Rainbow Dash rolling out in a wheelchair in the beginning of RF's third act. Firstly, Dash's plan is see-through. Secondly, no one's this unbelievably stupid to fall for it. When Pinkie and the CMC are about to crash. "VEGGIE SALAD!" Seriously, Pinkie? <_< The Sugarcube Corner scene in Mare-Do-Well for nullifying the entire episode and its poorly executed moral. The edited scene in "The Last Roundup." It has some of the worst voice acting in the show. On top of it, the censorship sends a message that people with disabilities don't and shouldn't coexist in society. It's extremely offensive, and I refuse to watch TLR on NetFlix or TV. The ending of Hearts & Hooves Day. The CMC are already sorry for screwing up. Rubbing salt in the world is very mean-spirited and is very out of character of Cheerilee, Big Mac, and the entire show. I don't think the last roundup was ever meant to be offensive just a nod to the fandom. Surely the fandom had created this character long before the episode. Sig tweaked to perfection by Coby! RainbowTashie 378 January 25, 2015 Share January 25, 2015 -Pinkie Pie's behavior in Filli Vanilli as she was acting out of the character for the sake of making her a villain. -The entire episode of Rainbow Falls was a big train wreck proceeding to hit another train wreck, then it explodes in a blazing inferno at the end, all because the train conductors slept like lazy asses. -Her friends known formerly as the sidekick 5 and Princess Celestia chose Cadence/Chrysalis over Twilight, and the ridiculous amount of plot armor Queen Chrysalis had to protect her from a sun goddess and the amount of mistakes she made throughout the whole Canterlot wedding episode. -The Sugarcube corner scene in MMDW. I thought Rainbow Dash being flanderized as an asshole was bad, but what her friends did to her throughout the episode earned my hate even more. - The new fluttershy outdoing her corrupted version in who is the meanest version of Fluttershy through out the entire episode, and Iron will getting punished despite it totally Fluttershy's doing. I'm glad someone feels that way poor RD she was a hero no different to how any other real life hero would act. I know I am going to cop a lot of heat for this, but if there is one scene out of the four seasons of the show that I hate with a burning passion is simply put in a few words....Power Ponies and Flutterhulk. Those two things really, really get me going in anger and it still does today. I'll let this excerpt from my episode entry on my blog sum it up: "I have seen Fluttershy grow and evolve into a character that I still love and consider my favourite ever since I discovered the show back in 2011. I know about Flutters traits as a quiet and shy pony from the first episode that I watched back then. Putting Your Hoof Down was a different kettle of fish to this episode was we saw a different side of her building up her self confidence, which in turn thanks to Iron Will made Fluttershy overconfident and show her aggressive nature and as a result she hurt her friends feelings and this was a wake up call for Flutters. Future episodes would have some of those self confidence traits, but when it came to this episode and to the part where she hulked up, I couldn't watch it and seeing her in battle mode made me cringe like anything. I often ask why they did this. It was not necessary. Yes I know it's a reference to a classic superhero franchise, but I don't like seeing Fluttershy in that manner. It breaks my heart to see that happen and I don't want to see it happen again. Ever." Yeah i agree it was really out of taste imo. One third of Hearts and Hooves Day. Watching Cheerilee and Big Mac gush over each other like that for ten straight minutes was just painful to watch. that was just gross even five year old me would be like eww! RainbowTashie 378 January 25, 2015 Share January 25, 2015 Snowflake's Bulk Biceps's generic, superfluous one-liners in Rainbow Falls. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srRWJzRhuzo What's wrong with making him a silent Pegasus? We already have Big McIntosh for Earth Ponies and King Sombra for Unicorns. yeaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I don't like the following scenes: - "Tell your parents about your bad attitude," in 'One Bad Apple' - Who vs. Hoo in 'Owl's Well That Ends Well' - "You scooped Soarin' outta the sky, and now? Now he's okay..." in 'Rainbow [Redundancy] Falls' - Pinkie eats MMM in 'MMMystery On the Friendship Express' (made everything feel pointless) - Snips & Snails in 'Boast Busters' and 'The Mysterious Mare Do-Well' (I actually don't hate Snips & Snails, but holy shit they were annoying in these two episodes). I hated your first point too It was the anti bullying quota i guess but what kid would actually do that? they would get bulliied even more I decided to rewatch the ending, because I wondered if had I missed something. The final scene you mean is when they decide to go out at a picnic in the gazebo, right? Where Cheerilee and Big Mac playfully call each other pet names in front of the CMC? I don't think it was cruel and definitely not borderline abusive- it seemed, although a bit stupid, just like a bit of teasing. The CMC were remorseful, granted, but hurt? They didn't seem hurt in any way when Appleboom even smiles and ask how Cheerlie and Big Mac are doing. Anyway, it seemed more like when two parents call each other 'cute' names and their kids get all grossed out. I think that's what the ending was trying to convey. But! If that's your opinion, it's completely okay to think that. I can see that there is no wosrse punishment than using mushy behaviour in front of small children ;P I'll give you my top 10 10.The other ponies abandoning pinkie in "pinkie pride" - yeah other people have brought this up...it was very uncomfortable to watch and was very disheartening...but then I remembered "rainbow has always been a bit insensitive sometimes" and that kinda made things more believeable. That and the fact that we all have been impressed by someone new at one point, and we sometimes accidentally neglect others without intending to. This is pretty low on my list, because it has a good explanation to it, and the rest of the episode was fantastic! 9.The ending scene in magical mystery cure : My main complaint here, is that twilight got her wings and at the end of this episode becomes a great flyer! Then we cut to "princess twilight sparkle" and "Equestria girls" and suddenly, she lost her flying skills...it's more of a lack of continuity that bugs me about that scene. 8.Flash Sentry in "Three's a crowd" : you lied to us meghan...we'll remember this. (it's not that big of a deal...but still...) 7.Fluttershy going off on Rarity and Pinkie : That scene went a bit too far...like, I don't really need to say anything much more than that... 6.The plant monster from "Three's a crowd" : That thing...was terrifying. And sooooooo out of place. Like for real, I remember watching that episode and going DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG! Like, I felt that scene was trying too hard to say, "I'm not just a show for little girls!" which really made it feel uncomfortable. 5.The cutie mark crusaders song for the talent show : That's an obvious one...just because it was so hard to watch...plus the ending of that episode basically spoiled the whole "freedom to be who you want to be" thing, by obviously exposing what their cutie marks will be! 4.Stop the Bats! : The song...I love the song...but it's so out of character for all these friends to gang up on fluttershy and act so close minded. Especially twilight, who just became a princess! She should have been a bit more mature there eh? 3.All the cliffhangers so far : Who was that shadow figure at the end of Castle-Mania? what's up with fluttershy's bat-tooth? is pinkie pie really an apple? all these loopholes and more need to be tied up, and I honestly don't think they can do it by the end of the season without rushing it...it's just too much! So now everytime I see one of these scenes, I get a little frustrated, because I feel as though it's something we'll never know! All that may change however, depending if they can make it work or not...So we'll see... 2.Duckfaces : WHY ON EARTH...did they need to put those in there? I would understand if it was a "popularized" and "prissy" pony...but pinkie pie?...applejack?...scootaloo? it's already annoying in real life...I don't want to see my ponies doing it too 1.Daring Dont (The whole episode) : This was one of the worst episodes in the show's history...there were so many out of character moments, so many plot holes, everything was a majour mess...it ranks up there with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3...it doesn't exist. Yeah bats was just plain mean. why have i never noticed these duckfaces? The scene in all of MLP that irked me the most is in the second episode. The scene where Applejack tells Twilight to let go and she will be safe. It's super cheesy, forced and illogical. Whats the point of letting go at all? they could just grab her where she was hanging >< Also why couldn't Applejack just tell Twilight that they would catch her? No need for blind trust. This scene almost made me give up on MLP. I was just starting out, and in the second episode, this scene comes along. i'm so glad that this was brought up. It's the worst scene in the entire series! who in they're right mind wouldn't just say RD and Fshy will break your fall. It's just painful. There's no way I would let go and potentially risk my life because i put my faith in a pony I just met. Surely basic survival instict would come into play here. In no particular order... - The third act of "Ponyville Confidential" in which every adult in town alienates little girls and makes them feel hated is just downright mean and immensely hard to watch, especially when you consider that it was the adults who demanded the gossip in the first place and that the CMC were being blackmailed into continuing even after they wanted to stop. It takes an episode was just meh and turned it into one of my most hated episodes. - Scumbag Zecora taking Spike's gem in "Just for Sidekicks". Or maybe Spike being denied his cake. Take your pick. - Fluttershy trying to abandon her friends and run away in "Magic Duel". - The reveal that the Wonderbolts tried to replace Soarin and indirectly sabotage Ponyville's team in "Rainbow Falls". It doesn't make any sense within the episode, and this one little moment not only makes "Wonderbolt Academy" weaker, but it makes Dash's series-long goal seem pointless. What the literal hell. - Twilight's insurance that it's okay to show off as long as you know for sure that you are the best (?!) in "Boast Busters". - Twilight's family, friends and mentor making her feel like crap in "A Canterlot Wedding". I get it, they're disappointed, but Jesus, way to lay it on thick. - Pinkie Pie rubbing it in Dash's face that she didn't get any cider in "Super Squeezy Who Gives a Crap". In fact, that whole gag was just a bust. - Just to be clear, I actually hate the majority of "Super Squeezy Who Gives a Crap", but the one moment that stands out to me is AJ's immensely arrogant insistence that she didn't learn anything after almost losing her family's farm and flat out losing the loyalty of the town because of their arcane business practices. This is something you see in Family Guy. Wow, that was negative. Is there a "Best Scenes" thread around here? I know what you mean. It's the one part in an otherwise fantastic episode that feels a bit iffy. It's especially weird when you consider that Pinkie's friends at this point know what happens to Pinkie when she feels abandoned/alone. Really? I though AJ's letter to Celestia at the end was priceless it's good that she can boast for once she's always such a modest pony Sig tweaked to perfection by Coby! Coco before Pommel 679 January 25, 2015 Share January 25, 2015 The only moment I can honestly say I hated was Pinkie's scene in Filli Vanilli (the second time around, when she makes Fluttershy run off crying). So horrible and painful to watch for Flutters, and so OOC for Pinkie - yes, she can be oblivious and insensitive at times, but she's also been shown to be sensitive when it comes to Fluttershy in particular ("we can't prank Fluttershy!" in Griffon The Brush Off) and optimistic, supportive and encouraging when she's been scared in the past (the Hop, Skip and Jump sequence in Dragonshy). IMO it totally failed in being funny and just made Pinkie look like a horrible, tactless and OTT stupid pony when that's the exact opposite of what she's about as a character and why I love her. And it's extra sad because that episode is otherwise one of my all time favourites and if were it not for that one scene, it would be (for me) perfect I can forgive a lot when it comes to this show, even though there are plenty of moments I didn't enjoy or thought were unnecessary/OOC/whatever, but that's really the only moment I really wish never happened. wonderful signature by Blue Moon & Wheatley! | cosplay | deviantart | fimfiction | johari window | pm me for 3DS friend code, or just to talk/make friends/whatever! <
RainbowTashie 378 January 25, 2015 Share January 25, 2015 If you're talking about Derpy, she was created by the staff, not the fandom It was an animation error as far as i knew and it led to her being Derpy hooves. The fact that they continued to animate her like this was the producer's response to the fandom DT & SS's "catch phrase" in almost every episode: Me: Who here didn't read that in DT and SS's voices? i feel unclean now. - Any scene with Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. Would someone step on them already?! - Every scene in "Simple Ways." Terrible episode. - The "Breeziefied" Mane 6. That made lots of sense. - Pinkie Pie's behavioral issues in "Filli Vanilli." Those scenes were crap. - Every scene with Cheese Sandwich in it. Weird Al sucks. And yes, I'm kidding about the last one. breezies should have never been re-introduced imo. And i loved simple ways cause AJ was trolling Rarity so hard Any of the parts where Spike is abused for seemingly no reason other than exceptionally weak comedy. Now, it was alright sometimes, and all characters get that sometimes, but with Spike in particular I feel the writers have taken it a bit too far on many occasions, and it even seems intentional on their part. The 'jokes' with Spike used to seem more innocent and fitting, but more recently they have started to become a little more depressing than funny. It also of course has the negative effect of making the Mane 6 look like terrible friends sometimes, but eh... I think it's supposed to convey that Spike is younger and more immature than the mane 6. A feat that I do not believe since he is often the voice of reason and the most sensible. 1. When RainbowDash says "You're not as annoying as I thought" to Pinkie Pie. Um... rude much? 2. When Twilight explains the moral in "Feeling Pinkie Keen". Ya dun screwed that one up. 3. Whenever Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon say "Blank Flank" and "Bump, lump, sugar lump rump". 4. When Lightning Dust asks Rainbow "Wanna get some grub?" in "WonderBolt Academy". The word "grub" is just... such a gross word. Like, it sounds so weird. 5. Every song in "Show Stoppers". 6. Any scene with Rainbow Dash talking. image.jpg I guess that was a bit mean of RD but i just thought that ep was plain funny ;P if i had Pinkie as a friend i'd want to GTFO as fast as i could too yeah Twily did kinda land herself in it there. i really disliked Twilight for a while after. RainbowTashie 378 January 25, 2015 Share January 25, 2015 I hate when the mane 6 visit the TOH and they send Twily home I know they meant well but it kinda feels like they pushed her away I hate it when Discord but words in Twily's mouth after saying that she thought she was better than everypony else. Whether he did this to help the mane 6 is still open to discussion Fair points, though I'm not sure I agree that she was so badly over-exaggerated as to demean her character so badly. It's not the only time in the show where she's gone overboard - in fact, Rarity is quite the drama queen and attention-hoarder throughout the series. She's always struggled with being reasonable while she's in the spotlight. IMO, Sonic Rainboom did a pretty good job of establishing that about her, while also giving her a chance to redeem herself at the end by apologizing directly to Rainbow Dash. I think people tend to forget, too, that all of the Mane 6 have had their exaggerated moments - they're cartoon characters, after all. The common thread I see all the time about Fluttershy is that a significant portion of the fandom really hated her acting out in Putting Your Hoof Down (another of my favorites) and saying that was completely out of character for her. I just really don't know why it seems I'm the only one here who understands what it's like to come out of your shell and be unprepared for the flood of emotions that hits you when you do. She struck me as being completely IN character in that episode - in fact, PYHD and Filli Vanilli are the two strongest Fluttershy episodes in the series IMO, in terms of her being a real, believable, relatable character. My personal opinion (and challenge, honestly) is that people find scenes like that uncomfortable because they touch nerves - they show sides of our own personalities that we want to distance ourselves from. We like to think of our favorite ponies as perfect, but if they really were perfect, they would be boring and nobody could relate to them. Their flaws, exaggerated though they are, are what define them. This last paragraph my freind is SO bucking TRUE! Any and all scenes with that abomination Flutterbat. The fact that the transformation was progressive and mental as well as physical made it horrifying. On top of the fact that it was because of an action Fluttershy was against! When she became Flutterhulk, it was quick, brief, and she was still more or less in the driver's seat. Her vampirism however? It reminded me too closely of An American Werewolf in London. Thank Celestia we didn't have to witness her slow, bone grinding, flesh warping, transition. (One doesn't go from small feathery wings, to large leathery ones smoothly.) Nah, Flutterhulk was just as bad, a huge insult to her character as if the writers never even met her. But more than the implications, I just hate how Flutterbat affected the story cohesion. Fluttershy's entire stance is that the bats aren't just mindless ravenous beasts that will destroy the farm and have no empathy. Then when she's infused with batness, she becomes... a mindless ravenous beast that will destroy the farm and has no empathy. Then once that's fixed, they're all "Oh Fluttershy, you were right!" What logically should have happened is for Fluttershy to say "Okay that was horrible, we really really have to get rid of every single bat as soon as possible." I disagree, but then again, I'm a sucker for superhero stuff. (Which I thought the Mane Six pretty much were so it kind of made the whole episode a tad redundant, but I enjoyed it.) I would also disagree. Fluttershy became that monster because an alien process was forcing itself on her mind. She couldn't reconcile the base instinct to feed on the fruit that was collected from all of the bats and forced into one mind. That's why showing her the mirrors saved her, it allowed her conscious mind to anchor itself. Telling the res of the Mane Six, "yep, roast the bastards" afterwards? That would've been out of character. Dulset Tarn 441 January 25, 2015 Share January 25, 2015 That's why showing her the mirrors saved her, it allowed her conscious mind to anchor itself. That's not even close to what the episode says. Not that it made any more sense then. Literally everything about that episode was nonsense.
Orablanco Account 3,707 January 26, 2015 Share January 26, 2015 Really? I though AJ's letter to Celestia at the end was priceless it's good that she can boast for once she's always such a modest pony But there's nothing to boast about. She didn't prove anything to anyone. It was through sheer dumb luck that she didn't end up homeless. Onwards to my DeviantArt page! Sig by the illustrious Kyoshi! That's what I got from the episode. There are some things in art that are interpretable to the audience, my friend. This show isn't a documentary. Well honestly, it's only because of stupidity that she almost ended up homeless to begin with. And I don't mean taking the bet in the first place. They bet for exclusive rights to sell cider, but when they lose they just surrender the whole farm to the bros for NO REASON. That's what I got from the episode. They TELL you exactly what the mirror is for, you don't get to say "They're wring and I'm right." You may as well assert that Twilight's cutie mark symbolizes the color purple. Pinkie-Guy 563 January 26, 2015 Share January 26, 2015 Yeah, I don't care for Flutterbat or that episode either. I'm fine with Flutterhulk because it was quick and humorous. I can understand Pinkie in the beginning of Filli Vanilli, but not as it progressed. It seemed downright mean.

Watch the scene where Fluttershy is looking at herself in the mirrors and imagine what's going through her head? It's not like we get an inner monologue. I didn't say anything about anyone being wrong, Twilight explained the functional purpose of the mirrors. I didn't say that wasn't true. I just surmized what was going on in Fluttershy's head.
