What's YOUR opinion on them? I love 'em! The idea of telling a story through an album appeals to me greatly. My first 2 favorite albums are concepts (1st being Dream Theater's "Metropolis Pt 2: Scenes From A Memory" and 2nd being Queensryche's "Operation: Mindcrime"). Got any others that you'd suggest? I already know of Coheed And Cambria and how their albums work. I just haven't gotten around to checking them out.

I'd say The Dark Side Of The Moon by Pink Floyd is my favorite. In fact, a lot of concept albums are found in prog.

Concept Albums are incredible.  If I were you, I'd try The Theory of Everything and Universal Migrator:  Parts 1+2 by Ayreon.  Those two are absolutely fantastic.  I think you'll have a blast listening to them.  Also, try out King Diamond's albums Abigail and Them.

I'm a big fan of concept albums. There's just something about a bunch of songs that tell a unified story or narrative that's just amazing. At the moment, my favorite has to be Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d city

Even if you aren't a fan of Hip Hop, I definitely think this is an album you need to listen to. The lyrics (which I recommend you read as you listen) and production are really top notch.
