Why do people complain about stepping on a lego?

Because the pointy bits, including the corners, going right into the middle of the foot really friggin' hurts and the blocks are so small that they catch you completely by surprise.

 

What was the best construction toy (lego, Meccano, K'nex, stickle bricks, etc?)

I'm not a medical expert, psychologist, psychiatrist, teacher or love doctor. Take my words with a pinch of salt, yeah?

 

I am an experienced cook, musician and care worker though, so that's something.
