Chrysalis is a really poor thing, she lost her shapeshifting talent. 

 

Chrysalis or Nightmare Moon?

Chrysalis, definitely. In my Headcanon, believe Nightmare Moon was really just a Parasite taking control of Luna and "taking her to the dark side", by, you know, whispering bad things to her when no one was around, and eventually, when Luna got too depressed, Nightmare struck, taking control of her body while leaving Luna in the back of her mind, weeping in self-loathing or self-pity.

 

Chrysalis, however, was just taking care of her swarm. They were starving, and they needed sustenance. And it just so happened that their species require Emotions as food. So, in desperation, she attacked Canterlot to feed her subjects, or her children rather, if the "Queen" thing is anything like normal bugs.

 

So, I prefer Chrysalis. She was just doing what she had to survive, after all.

 

Also, according to the picture above, I'd let her in my home I'd give her a hug for dinner

And another thing... Chrysalis is technically a fairy, when you think about it. Just one shaped like a bug. And has the biology of a bug. But still, technically a fairy.

Depends on what you mean by "strong" 

In terms of usefulness, people with power over Time can pretty much over come anything given enough tries at it

In terms of brutal magical power, the strongest magical character I can think of off the top of my head would be Evangeline A K McDowell,  Her powers one shot even the biggest bosses in her own story 

 

If you could have a one way trip to any fictional universe where would you go?

Hmm... Equestria would seem an obvious choice for me, honestly, though there's alot that could be interesting. The Fallout universe, for example. Though, I would most likely succumb during the first week, there. 

Undertale is interesting, aswell.

And of course there's alot more, such as LOTR, Star wars, Overlord, D&D, Baldurs gate... There's alot.

 

But, I am not one to fight that much, favouring strategy more. So... Overlord, Undertale or Equestria are my choices, there. D&D too, I suppose. Hmm... Eh, I'll stick with Equestria. I have too big of a desire to meet and interact with the ponies
