Probably the Tirek fight scene at the end of the fourth season. It was something completely unorthodox and out of context with MLP in general, so it both surprised me and astounded me.

Admittedly, I had to look up who Tricky is.

 

If Discord actually had killing intent, I'm sure he could make easy work of a tricky. Discord has shown cunning on a whole other level, plus if he keeps his guard up there's not much Tricky could do to take him head on.
