Does mlp break the airhead label?

I think it was tommy oliver (not sure) who remarked that sweetie bell was a bit of an airhead.

I dismissed it at first,

 

Cause i generally feel sweetie bell is genuinely bright,

 

but is it possible to portray a character as clever and absent minded at the same time?

(with the right, writer, pinkie all day, every day.).

I felt Sweetie seemed to be an airhead when I saw her initially. Although that seems to be a trait there not continuing trying to phase out

She is kind of naive and innocent. Not sure if she is an airhead though

I'm always thought of Sweetie Belle as slow, but not an airhead.

 

And yes, Pinkie Pie is the perfect example of a character that can be portrayed as clever and absent-minded at the same time.

I'm not sure slow is a improved term.    to say airhead.  I'm just saying.

"Slow" is probably just as bad as "airhead", but "airhead" seems to imply a bit of ditziness to someone, which I don't think is true of Sweetie Belle.

well air headed generally implies absent minded.

 

slow implies a mental defect.  One can be fixed and is a matter of bad habit.
