I don't mind the New Vegas references, but the setting is not New Pegasus and it's decades before that timeline ever happened.

And apparently Bugatti Veyron (Pizza Rex) didn't join, so I'm taking him out.

Well, to tell you the Truth, Most 'New Vegas References' are Canon and, yeah, as you said, it's not in New Pegasus, But it's still in Equestria, so it should at least be shown that we are keeping to both Canons, since we are going onto a Slightly unbeaten Path. I wouldn't mind having Refs at Fo1, 2 and So on, but only if they keep their Canonical Substance correct, it's fine.

Actually...the Technophiles I developed off from the other roleplay from Kolth is also partly referenced off of Fallout: Tactics's Reavers.

I...HAVE POSTED IN THE ROLEPLAY. IF ANYONE WISHES TO INTERACT WITH RENEGADE, FEEL FREE TO.

Also, it's unclear if Tactics is canon or not.

Some parts of it are considered canon by Bethesda, but not all, since a few facts do indeed contradict Fallout 3 and NV.

Ooh, me too. But I need to re-write it. I was thinking of using some factions here in the RP, if that's ok with Suri. Also, what is a ponified for the white glove society?

TBH, I'm not certain a NV fan fiction could work, since there's already "Viva Las Pegasus" and "New Pegas". People don't necessarily like copying off the Fallout series and like to build off their own wasteland.

Historical context is most certainly interesting if it's done right. (New episode!) Simply put, make everything interesting and not directly pulled off the game. That includes the characters.

Also, the show already introduced the actual timeline from the new episode:

Twilight Sparkle mentions the Wonderbolt leader of the Fourth Celestial Era, Colonel Purple. Assuming we're adding this to the FoE, hypothetically the Wonderbolts use military ranks, and the current era would either be the Fifth Era or First Lunar Era.

Wonder which weapons does the Wonderbolts use.

So I made a post. It isn't exactly specific on location either.

And there's a poll for best OC... Great.

Hey, I wanted to give you some advice. Make your character some backstory, motives, and an objective. I'm not saying that your character is bad, I'm simply saying that if you want to make it better, those are the ways to make it. Here's an example from my OC, Line Plucker.

Backstory (Very Short): Ex-Slave, Current Trader. Parents died by Slavers and Raiders.

Motives: Wants to exterminate Slavery (Subject to Change, due to Dynamic development), and to make everypony's life better.

Objective (Current): Find Anaphora, to say sorry and to rejoin her in her struggle

Alright. Here's Renegade:

Backstory: Raised as a raider, ran away to escape this lifestyle.

Motives: Wants to redeem himself and help those in the wasteland.

Objective: None yet, currently wandering the wasteland.

Hmm... Maybe your character's objective is to find a place to redeem himself, say join a group or organization. Maybe become an NER Trooper, Steel Ranger Knight, Caravan Guard, or just any such organization that has morals that mean to be good. Also, don't say the Enclave, just. no...

Also, about your character, have you given karma to your character? As in, your character in his core, is a good pony, or a bad one. It adds to the morality and how others can guess how your character would react.

Well, the NER Troopers can direct him to their Field HQ from to any of their Posts, the Steel Rangers are a bit more tricky, since they will usually be more picky and will be at their Citadel for the Chapter, and to get there would mean you would have to do missions and be proven before getting his training Started. The Caravan guard's the easiest, as he just has to go to a Caravan Branch in the Area, have a weapon, experience and be there to get signed on. Just giving you some examples, you can get other Organizations too, like other factions?

Yes, yes. I know. As I said, you could have him be a Caravan guard and let him guard Caravans. You could have NPC's to talk to. Or. You could be a Caravan going through 188 Trading post ;) . Line and Charcoal are going to be going there and meet a certain trader, and you could just be there in the situation to intervene.

Well, NPC's speak from the person saying it. As in, Suri has an NPC Forage, he's not her character per se, because he is an NPC and can be controlled by me, you see. NPC's are what some call the stopgap from an actual conversation in Forum RP's.
