Some kind of werepony in season 5?

A werepony would be interesting...

But since the word "wer" is ancient German for "Man", I think a werepony would be a human who turns into an human at full moon.

And since it always is full moon  in Equestria (Or did anyone notice a crescent moon in the show?), the werepony would be stuck in pony form.

Hence my headcanon about Lyra being such a werepony.

Maybe by some means we can get somepony turned into a SEAPONY?

These seaponies form a triple six! Grab your cheese and popcorn! The Apocalypse is upon us!

Well, I gots to agree & disagree with Rotcod Disco here. One can assume the chief aim is name recognition in the viewing populaces' usage of the prefix of Wer-. Doesn't quite pack the same punch if you work it the other way around. What'd you call a pony turning into a wolf then, eh? A Horsewolf?...hmm...

As to how the transformation would work, well...the moon doesn't work quite the same way in Equestria does it? Phases may have nothing to do with it after all, if indeed the sun & moon are being moved by hoof intentionally. But you can make anything go haywire if you throw enough magic at it. On the plane of Innistrad the werewolves there work by virtue of the moon being made out of silver & that just throwing everything to perdition in a knapsack from there! We could work it to just being transmitted by bite. Say, RD or AJ gets overconfident about their abilites and heads off to the Everfree, gets bit, tries to hide it from her friends until her transformation, played up comically for the kiddos, gets outta hand & they learn a lesson about eating your words & accepting help before you shoot yourself too far in the hoof.

A good writer can make anything happen! We turned Jeff Goldblum into a Were-Fly for mercy's sake! It's magic! We ain't gotta explain it!

Beatings & Salivations Everybeing!   Creativity is something blatantly important to me as is no doubt evidenced by the 28 OCs I have posted here of the some forty plus I have, they're linked altogether at the bottom of my About Me page in my Profile & I would deeply cherish anything you wish to say about them! Among which of those I am proudest most of is my Draconequusona, His/My Ask Thread  and my Hydra, Gallimaufry or "Mauf" and their own Ask Thread!  Either way, sufficed to say, I am quite confident I have more OCs than you! Crazier to! Do You have a tatzelpony?! No, I rather think you don't! Hew-Hew-hew!
