At first I thought Pirates in the future PIRATES EVERYWHERE! Then heard "Epic pony war " and immediately thought DHX knows of pony mods for epic war games! Then I found out it was just Twilight being herself, meh, good enough

When I had read the synopsis I had thought that we'd actually see a older twilight, not a few days older.

 

Also while I loved the future look (very mgs), was a bit sad there wasn't a nod to it.

Since now im unsure if that look was even intentional. Something like her under a cardboard box would have been golden.

Dear Sweet Celestia....Trixie is already pretty full of herself, if there were two of her...I don't even want to think about it.

 

2 Trixie's locked in an endless 3rd person arguement is what it would cause.

 

As for Twi x Twi, romantic relations would likely never occur, now both laying in bed reading books is more likely.

I thought future twilight would be just like that. 0_o with the paper cut scar from the scrolls she uses a hundred times a day, the telescope would have looked at the sun at some point. (Celestia moved the sun) and I figured she wouldn't be allowed access to a new library that had her favorite book but sneaking into equestria archives for a spell comes close enough. As for the hair. I thought she was commander of a pony war. But close enough. I also thought she would've had a spell book on her at all times.

To me, I think the total subversion of Dark Future Twilight in this episode was one of the most inspired ideas in the show all season.
