In Hoenn she was introduced to the idea of the Contest, and loved it.

And now she's going to Johto. Feels weird for her to not bring her Meowstic with her.

So, consider the roleplay now "closed" to new applicants.  Closed is in quotations because, like I said in the rules, I didn't have a set number of players in mind when I made it.  So if someone has a particularly well written application, I might still let another join.  However, since we do have a decent number of people, I will probably be pickier about who gets in.

 

 

In other words, yes, it is still possible to sign up if you have a well written application  I'm getting pickier as more people join, but since it's still pretty early in the RP I don't mind still accepting people that put work into it.

I am Jason Hayes, nice to meet you.

 

Briefly, what do you look like?

I am of average height and you could say I have a lightly built body. I have dark black hair, deep blue eyes and pale skin. I usually wear a simple black jacket, jeans and sneakers. I carry my things in a simple single strap backpack.

 

Give us a quick idea for your personality.

Well, people tell me I am quite friendly and polite. Though some say I tend to be quite serious during tense situations. I've been told I also spend far too much time with Lumi, my Glaceon. I tend to like to look at the brighter side of things rather than focus on the negatives.

 

Where are you from originally?

I am from the Kalos region, Dendemile Town, a nice place to visit if you ever decide to head to Kalos.

 

How old are you?

I am 19 years of age.

 

What (one) pokemon are you bringing along on your adventure?  (And what moves does it know?)

I will be bringing Lumi with me. She is a Glaceon. Her move pool consists of  Icy Wind, Hail, Ice Shard and Bite. I've noticed she becomes quite nimble during hail and finds it far easier to dodge attacks. (Snow Cloak ability)
Added info of Lumi.

Personality: Lumi is a quiet and cautions, always making sure of things before doing them. She likes to observe her surroundings and peers. Lumi is extremely loyal to Jason and will stick by him through thick and thin. She enjoys the fact that Jason often tries to converse with her, and she does her best to offer Jason advice when she thinks he might be rushing through something.

Appearance: Nothing really remarkable stands out in Lumi's appearance, though if you look close enough her coat has a slightly lighter shade than normal. (Not a shiny though.)

((OOC: Glaceon's preferred RP pokemon is a Glaceon, I bet no one saw that coming.))

The application looks good for the most part, but Glaceon's move pool seems really too strong for the early game.  Part of the fun of an RP like this is growth, and since she's already an evolved pokemon (which I don't have a problem with), most growth will have to deal with learning new moves.  Plus it's quite a bit stronger than what everyone else has to start with.  If you can nerf her move list I can add you to the roster.  

 

If you want to check what some of the others know, no one has learned anything new from what they've stated on their apps yet, so feel free to check some of those if you need ideas.  Plus through battling and such, you can have her learn moves you want as the story progresses further

Guess ya can't see me on this application heh. Starting from the top, I have golden hair that's pretty clean cut and a pair of chestnut eyes. Lucky for me, I'm pretty fit and can eat just about anything I want without gaining weight. Last time I checked, I was right under 6 foot so I'm sorta tall but not enough to hit my head on the ceiling heheh. I normally wear some comfortably brighter navy blue jeans and a grey long sleeve. Usually wear some silver and blue running shoes with 'em....I don't need to look fancy if I can be comfortable.

Well...um...I try to keep my cool in even the most stressful of situations. I'd like to think of myself as well-educated and a good strategist but that's just me. I unfortunately care about what others think about me especially if I'm close to them. It may make sense why I lack confidence. I'm kinda nervous around girls-but that's normal for a guy. I kinda learned to play it cool as I got older...heh, getting off subject...Um, in reference to pokemon I'd like to say I'm a good sport. I mean, me and Noi have a great bond and work pretty well together...it's just, we have a lot to learn. Everyone here in Blackthorn expects a lot of their trainers because of Lance and his sister. It was almost forced that everyone get a dragon pokemon growing up but really, I didn't mind. Noi's my best friend. I wouldn't have traded her for any other pokemon.

Actually, I'm from right here in Johto: Blackthorn to be exact.

I'll be 20 here soon so that makes me 19.

You mean Noi...er Noibat? Yeah uh, she knows some pretty good moves: Screech, Bite, Wing Attack, and Supersonic. I think she has the Infiltrator ability or at least that's what one of the Dragon Den elders said when I got her.

That looks better, I'll add you to the roster now.  You can make your first post whenever - try and start in New Bark Town from the lab if you could, just so you'll have the same items as everyone else.  Don't know if you've read any of the RP or not, but you'll at least want to look through it for the posts that describe the routes and towns people have reached so far.  I'm going to try and add a section to the OP that can act kinda like a table of contents as far as what pages those posts are on.

What's your name? Callista Marie Witlock, but I insist you call me Callie.

 

 

Briefly, what do you look like? Well as for my physical build, I'd say I'm athletic and a little... flat-chested. My face is a bit angular, my hair is brown and wavyish and goes down to the small of my back, while my bangs are more straight and go straight down nearly into my eyes. As for my attire, I generally wear a light blue shirt under a purple hoodie that's zipped up to my solar plexus, and blue jeans that go into my nearly knee high boots.

 

 

Give us a quick idea for your personality. I'd say I'm very mature for my age, and proud of it! That doesn't mean I can't be relaxed and have fun though! I guess I am a little untrusting of strangers, and am very cautious around people I've just met. I'll warm up to you eventually though! Maybe... I care greatly for those closely to me though, whether it be friends, family, or my beloved Mossy-poo. Revvy tells me I'm a nut about dragons, but it's only because they're so awesome!

I'll be bringing my sweet little Trapinch, Moss! I think he's very close to evolving and he knows the moves Rock Slide, Dig, Bulldoze, and Bite. His ability is Arena Trap, which definitely comes in handy with wild Pokemon!

 

Notice we're lacking in the female department, and I've never RPd with Callie before so... Ta-da!
