"I think that guy is drunk, hope he's okay" Whisper said, watching Alphonse walk out. Which gave her an idea "Let's go for a walk! You can show me around since I'm new. Maybe we will end up somewhere fun? Wat'cha think Rush?" she spoke quickly. Excitement made her chatter more than usual.

Thunder and Blitz looked around for a bit. "I don't think we should hang around here right now. Let's go back upstairs." Thunder stated as he went for the elevator. Blitz followed still rubbing the back of his head from where Thunder had whacked him. The elevator soon came and they returned back upstairs.

As the super computer powered up so did everything else connected to it. Two floors below the super computer was a room with these tube like things inside, they were always closed till now. As everything became operation one of these tube things opened with a load of smoke coming out and inside the tube was someone standing there. He was a teenager with dark blue hair and he had these symbols for pupils. He looked outside the tube and stepped out into the coldness of the room, I'M FREE!!, CODELY IS FINALLY FREE!! he shouted with a sort of demonic tone to it. Codely looked around trying to find a way out till he saw a elevator and so he went up.

 

The elevator stopped and the doors opened to reveal a big room with some sort of computer inside. Codely stepped out the elevator and saw Dex, he smiled. He faced Dex and pointed his hand at him and from his hand came out this purple electricity that struck Dex and was causing him pain, Codely lifted his hand up and as he did Dex started to be lifted up with the electricity still striking him. Dex was then thrown into a wall and Codely walked past him thinking he was dead.

 

Codely had walked into the sewers while searching for more people in the factory till he could hear a girl shouting to see if anyone was there, the girl was Katie. Codely looked up and grinned and he started to wait for this girl to come. As Katie came she saw Codely but before she could even say anything she was being picked up by the electricity coming from Codely's hands. As Katie was in great pain from the electricity someone else came out of Codely hands... It looked like some type of black mist but this mist could move by itself as if it was alive. The mist moved towards Katie and it entered her body going into her brain, Codely dropped Katie and Katie did nothing. Katie pupils started to turn into those symbols like Codely has and she was now not acting like herself, she had been possessed and now she was under Codely's control.

"Okay, that hurt." Dex said as he got to his feet. He shook off the residual feeling from being electrocuted. He looked at where that kid had gone and ran to the elevator, while thinking about what happened. That kid was definitely not human, if the eyes and electric powers were anything to go by. He realized that thing had to be stopped before it caused too much damage. 

 

Dex raced back the way he came and re-entered the sewers. As he did, he saw that kid with another girl he didn't recognize, nor care to. All he wanted was payback. 'Let's see how you like this' Dex thought as he snuck up behind the kid and snapped his neck.

Rush nodded. "That's not a bad idea. I'm getting kind of sick of this place anyway. If nothing else, there's an old factory I've always meant to check out. Nobody ever goes there, and I've heard people say it's haunted or something like that, but I don't buy it. It might be cool to check it out if you want to."

"Adventure!!! On my first day!!!" Whisper yelled.

 

Sounds pretty sketchy but heck it's something to do! That's FUN!!!

 

She grabbed his arm and dragged him outside...albeit quite slowly. She was out of breath just as they reached the outside, so she took a little break.

Rush laughed. "You don't have to drag me along. Just seeing you getting excited is getting me all pumped up for it too. Go ahead and take a minute to catch your breath, though. It's still a decent walk to get there. Although it's a lot faster if we take a shortcut through the sewers. But then, I'm guessing going through the sewers isn't exactly the kind of adventure you were hoping for. I don't mind either way, so it's up to you."

"Sewers? We can do sewers! I don't care but like I feel that we really really need to go!" she hopped up and down in place. Something suddenly felt wrong, she really wanted to go to the factory now. She looked at Rush pleadingly, gripping onto his large hand with her thin fingers "Let's go"

Codely didn't even flinch when he felt the hands snap his neck, in fact he just smiled back up at Dex, his once milky white eyes glowing red as the pits of Hell. He chuckled his voice bone-chilling, then his body just...dissolved. It was reduced to pixels and in a second, he was gone. This left the girl, Katie. She grinned up at Dex, her eyes Milky white, embroidered with a strange symbol that replaced her pupils.

 

She reached out her hands, and they lit with flames.

Rush nodded. Something felt... weird, all of a sudden. "Right. Let's get going. All of a sudden I really don't want to stay here any longer." He led her to the the entrance to the sewers, and lifted the manhole cover, motioning for her to go in first. "Ladies first. And anyway, If you were above me on the ladder and I were to look up... well, you're wearing a dress, so... you go first, alright?"

Disregarding the ladder, she leapt right in. Bracing herself for the landing, she was able to bounce back up to a quick sprint. "C'mon Rush! Let's play keep-up!" she yelled. She was out of his sight when he got down but down a-ways he could hear her giggling in excitement.

"The reason why I asked was because I have a mental illness." Minx said with a shrug. It was no big deal. "Do any of you boys like fighting?" Devilinx asked. Minx covered her mouth with her hands and shook her head. "I'm sorry. That was an accident!" Minx said. Her voice was slightly muffled. She thought about the change of location and suggested something. "I saw an old factory as I was driving here. Why don't we go check it out?" She asked.

The girl, Katie laughed madly, her hands flaring with pure heat. "Wow." she cooed, "I've never been in a girl body before, and one with so much shame and regrets." She twirled elegantly, her dress whirling freely about her legs. "It gives me power you know." She gave Dex a nasty smile before lugging a fireball at his head.

"Um... might seem kinda rude to ask, but... what kind of-" he blinked, suddenly cut off as the girl's voice, and her stance momentarily changed... as if a new persona took over. When he said her voice changed, he really just meant how she said her words. "Fight? I-" He was again cut off as she apologized. "Hey, don't worry about it... i`m guessing that was the mental illness you were talking about? Um... to awnser 'your' question... not really. I mean, I certaintly can, but..." at her suggestion, he thought a moment... he looked around, the teacher still running around scolding random students, whether they were doing anything or not, and the dance was preety lame even by his short standards... "Sure, why not? I mean... night's young I guess..." It did sound atleast kind of fun, and it'd be cool to get a look around...

 

...and... if he was honest with himself... he didn't want to push away one of the few people to ever just come up and talk to him...

Rush grinned. He loved her energy and excitement. Jumping down after her, he ran and quickly caught up with her, his longer stride carry him quickly down the tunnel. He turned to her, still smiling widely. "You're a lot of fun to be around, you know that? I'm glad I came up to you back at the dance."

"Crap, crap, crap." Dex said as he dodged the fireball. "This is not what I signed up for." He didn't see many ways out of this. He was about to go back the way he came when he noticed her eyes. They had the same symbol in them that was in that other kid's eyes. Then it clicked, she was being controlled. "Who are you?" Dex asked

She just turned and smiled at him while they ran. She was impressed. Boys usually couldn't keep up with her but she was in sandals not sneakers, so at a slight disadvantage. They soon found themselves in a room with an elevator at the far side.

 

"Heeelllllooooooo?" Whispered yelled into the room, unsure if someone was there.

Katie laughed but it turned into a demented sob, "Mom?!? Dad?! Please I'm home, I'm home I'm HOME!" On the last word her voice turned into a screech. Tears flowed from her eyes and flames exploded around her. "Please please please WHERE ARE YOU?" she flung her hand out and a wall of fire rushed towered Dex.

"Yes! We're going!" Minx covered her mouth again and calmed down a bit. She coughed and tried to get back her voice under control. "Sorry about that. We don't normally speak through Minx unless she's really excited about something." Minx just groaned and tried to form words. "That was unusual. Even for me. You must think I'm crazy now don't you?" Minx asked Vincent. That was what the other kids thought of her at her old school.

"...Damn." Said Dex as he saw the flames headed his way. He tried to dodge again, but the flames caught his arm this time and he fell. "AHHHHHHH $%" Dex cursed as he held his arm. The pain was borderline unbearable. He forced himself to stay up though. He got up, still holding his arm. He then went on the offensive, charging her and attempting to ram her with his good shoulder.

"A little..." he said bluntly. It seemed there was at least a 3rd voice... seemed calmer than the other. "But, I mean, hey, it's just an illness like any other. Not gonna judge you for it." He said simply. He tried to give her a bit of a smile, one he hoped was comforting. "Heh... according to that second... er.... third... voice, seems you're excited about this at least... can't turn you down now." He said with a slight smirk. He realized a bit how... rude it was that he'd said she was a little crazy but... well, his social skills weren't great, leading to him being a little blunt... even when he really, really, shouldn't be. Oh well. At least it made him truthful.

Rush followed her, panting lightly as they reached the open room. "You're fast, you know? I like to think I'm pretty fast, but I could barely keep up with you." He looked around for a while. "So, this is what the factory looks like on the inside, huh? It could be a pretty cool place to turn into some kind of clubhouse or something. It's not like anyone else is using it for anything."

Katie's natural battle reflexes kicked in. Her head suddenly twitched to the side and her tormented demeanor changed. A devious smile graced her lips and she simply watched the teen charging her. Just when the moment was right, she jumped straight into the air, tucking her self into a ball. When she was right above Dex's head, she reached down and pushed herself up, flipping even higher once again, and disorienting the already hurt Dex. She landed by the computer and gave the power switch a roundhouse kick. The advanced strength of her possessor broke the switch, leaving it stuck in the 'on' position.

 

Than she dashed around the attackers legs and gave a much lighter kick to the button controlling the elevator. Since the thing was on the first floor already, the door simply flung open and she rolled in, giving the now coherent Dex a peace sign. But before the door could close on her, her head twitched again. The tears came back. She looked Dex in the eyes, "HELP ME!" She bellowed "HEL-" the door shut and the elevator lumbered to the upper floors.

Minx smiled a bit. Even though he did call her a tiny bit crazy, she wasn't about to lose a friend she just met. "That's good. At least you're honest about it. The two voices you heard was my split personalities. I have Multiple Personality Disorder. The one that was excited about going, I call her Devilinx. The other voice that apologised, I call her Angelinx. You can probably tell from the names what they are like." Minx hopefully explained away his confusion.

"Oh, I see. I`ve read about that... like I said, i`m taking a psychology course, do I have done some preliminary reading..." he muttered. He tried to remember what usually caused multiple personality disorder... he read about it usually being caused by traumatizing events from childhood, creating some sort of disassociation with these events. He decided not to worry too much about it. "Huh... so... like the angel and devil on your shoulder?" He said, remembering the old motif. 'Well...uh... I look forward to getting to know you. Er, all of you..." he muttered, not really sure how it worked. Quickly feeling the need to change the subject. "A-anyway! Factory! I say we head there!"
