Tempest sighed as he laid on Gale's back as the dragoness flew over the ocean. "Are you ready, Gale?" He asked, slightly excited.

 

The dragoness sighed, and glanced back at Tempest. "Yes, just don't get yourself killed." She said. The relationship between Tempest and Gale had grown over the last few years, ever since the cyan pegesus had defeated Jourmador and became the king of the dragons of Equestria. Some would even say that  it was to the point where they were nearly inseparable. "I wouldn't know what to do without you.'

 

The cyan pegesus smiled reassuringly, and pat Gale on the head. "I'll be fine, Gale. Trust me." With that, the cyan pegesus unhooked the few straps that connected him to Gale's saddle, and slipped right off. He then dove straight down, with Gale following close behind.

Blue Hurricane lounged about in the rec room of his mansion(merc work was lucrative). He was rather bored, having killed off most important contracts. A courier at the door interrupted his relaxation. His blue flesh turning red as anger boiled in him, he opened the door roughly, snarling. 

 

"What?" he growled at the messenger. He changed his tune when he saw the scroll with the seal of his favorite(and richest)customer on it. A quick read through later and he was getting ready for a job. Killing off the Dragon King, eh? Well, he'd do that job for free. The glory of doing it would be enough payment for him

Clayton sighed as he trotted around the island of Equestria. "I wonder where Tempest is now?" He thought. The unicorn then glanced at Orion, his dragon, and sighed. "Where would we be now if it wasn't for any of them."

 

Orion glanced at Clayton and smiled. "If only we could talk to each other like Tempest and Gale." He mused, as he lowered his head for Clayton to get on, which the pony did.

(@Evil Dragon Master: You do realize that this is in the HTTYD universe, right? You can try to kill Tempest, but make sure it fits.)

 

Tempest inhaled deeply, as his body began to shift. His body grew longer and more streamlined. His fur changed from it's normal cyan to a coal black. As for his eyes, they changed to an acidic green. Tempest then glanced at Gale, and smiled slightly. "Told you." He said. The pony/dragon hybrid then expanded his wings and steadied himself in the air.

 

Gale sighed in relief, as she flew next to Tempest. "I know, but I cant help but worry." She said, playfully nudging her friend with the tip of her wing.

Ruby aw Clayton trotting around and decided to go talk to him "Hey Clayton wassup" Ruby said hovering above Clayton above them was Tenebra flying around. Tenebra looked down at the two "if only ponies could understand me like Gale and Tempest oh well"

Blue Hurricane walked up to the docks, keeping his wings tucked in. While he could fly, he'd rather conserve energy and use a boat. The pony at the docks was very accomodating after Blue threatened to slit his throat. He might just keep his promise to the boat pony. 

 

"Do you know where Gale is?" Blue asked, sharpening his wing blades in preparation. The captain's throat was dry with fear and so he was unable to respond. Blue frowned a bit when the captain stayed quiet

Tempest smiled, and nudged Gale back. "Come on. I want to try this new body out." He said, as he sped up and did a few aerial maneuvers. He was honestly excited to be flying with Gale.

 

Gale laughed, and simply joined Tempest.The two looked like they were dancing in the air.

Clayton glanced at Ruby, and smiled. "Hey, Ruby. I was wondering where you were." He said. The unicorn then glanced at the sky. "I was actually thinking about all of this, what with the end of the dragon war. I can't help but feel a little on edge, though."

 

Orion glanced at Tenebra, and nodded. "Speaking of which, have you seen either of them?" He asked.

The captain had known a lot and had divulged it to Blue Hurricane after a bit of encouragement(threats and other such things). The captain was of little use to Blue now though and as a professional, leaving witnesses was messy. Blue buzzed his wings like a gnat and took off, not caring that his wing blades had slit the captain's throat upon take off. Blue noticed the dragons flying and smirked. Target found.

Blue used a classic speed burst, lunging forward at speeds that made him near impossible to see. His wing blades extended, he aimed to slash the Dragon King's jugular. If all went well, he'd bleed out almost instantly and Blue could make his escape. But these things never went well

"Well at least we get to not hear about killing dragons all the time now, and have you seen Gale and Tempest lately? " Ruby asked.

 

"I havent seen those two for a while now they might be busy or something but we can look for them if you want" Tenebra said.

Clayton shook his head."I haven't seen them at all today." He said. "They could be out out over the ocean."

 

Orion nodded, and looked into the sky. "We probably should, but I feel like we would be interrupting something." He said, giving a sly smile."They've gotten close over the past few years."

Tempest's ear's twitched, and he immediately broke the dance, and dodged the attack. He then shifted into his pegesus form, and he was not pleased. "Who in the name of Loki are you?" He growled, as he drew his dual swords. He then Gale. "Run."

 

Gale was slightly surprised, and nodded. She then flew back to Equestria as fast as she could.

"You know, I don't like praying. Whenever someone does it, I just want to kill them more!" he snarled, his wings a mere blur as he hovered. Many compared him to an insect in terms of the way he flew. Blue liked those comments, the people who said that got their bodies delivered in one piece. Blue flashed forward, mere blur as he exerted his wings to move into speeds beyond the capability of the eye

Tempest grit his teeth in anger. "That still doesn't answer my question." He said, as he blocked the wing blades with his own swords. "Who are you. Who sent you?" The cyan pegesus then slashed at his attacker. He was losing his patience, and needed to end this fast.

"I'm a professional, I don't give out information like that. I'm being paid very lucratively for this job" Blue Hurricane chuckled, dodging away from the slash.  He deliberately let the blades just barely skim his hide so he could show off more. "Oh, what's wrong? I show off a tiny bit of speed and I can already dodge you like a child" Blue Hurricane gloated, preening his pride

Tempest smirked slightly. "Please, I'm just getting warmed up." He said. The cyan pegesus then shifted into his dragon form, and fired several plasma shots at Blue.

 

Gale panted as she landed outside the village. She soon found Orion and the others. "We have a problem." She said.

Tenebra quickly looked at Gale "huh Gale whats the matter? did something happen to Tempest? lead the way and we will follow" Tenebra said worriedly.

 

Ruby quickly glanced at Gale "well there seems to be a problem i think " Ruby said worriedly.

"Cheater!" Blue wailed, zipping away from the plasma bolts with an annoying whine as his wings zipped him around. No more playing around, time for his ultimate technique. He moved around erratically, moving at such speeds that there were after images behind him. He circled the dragon, leaving a trail of after images behind him. Finally, he moved in, aiming to tear out the dragon's throat. If this technique with afterimages didn't work, he'd have to flee. He made it his priority to always stay at half stamina when fighting so that if things went bad, he could flee

Tempest growled slightly, and caught Blue's scent. "I have you now." He thought, as he whipped around and stabbed at Blue's shoulder with his claws.

 

Gale nodded. "We were flying over the ocean when some random pegesus attacked us." She said. "Cone on." The dragoness then flew into the air.

Blue grit his teeth, holding back a scream. Flashing his wing blades, he returned the favor, slashing through the claws that had stabbed him. Buzzing his wings he flew off, a mere blur...for 17 seconds. After that, he returned to normal speed, looking for a place to land. His stamina wouldn't last much longer

Tempest grit his teeth, and sighed. "What's done is done. I will not pursue him further" He thought to himself. The cyan pegesus then shifted into his pony form, and flew back towards Equestria.

 

Celestia sighed as she looked over a letter she had recieved from tne Beserker tribe. They were coming to Equestria in a few days, and they needed to prepare.

Blue landed on a small island and began licking his wounds. Well, that had gone badly. He'd like to call in some help....but that would mean sharing the glory with others something he didn't want at all. He slashed a rat that dared come too close to ribbons with his wing blades. Well, whatever. A nice rest later and he'd be ready to try again. He just needed to nap right now

Clayton nodded, and got on Orion. "Come on. We should follow her." He said. The unicorn was slightly worried for his friend, but knew Tempest could handle himself in a fight.

 

Orion muscles tensed, and he flew into the air. He would protect Tempest with his life, if this new pegesus turned out to be a threat.

Ruby hopped onto Tenebra. Tenebra then flew after Gale "a new pegasus on the block? ooo this gonna be sweet i am totaly gonna punch this guy or gal's face in for trying to hurt Tempest. This is going to be fun!" Ruby said as she flexed her wings ready to fly at a moments notice.

Gale glanced back at Ruby, and smiled. She knew Tempest's friends would always have his back. She then noticed a cyan blur, and smirked. "That must be him." She said.

 

Tempest smiled as he noticed Gale and the others. "At least that pony was alone. He must've been a mercenary." He thought. "The only problem is who hired him." The cyan pegesus then shook his head. He doubted the pony would come back, at least not alone. He then turned his attention to his friends. "Sorry guys, but I already took care of our little would be assassin." He said, his voice ebbing with sarcasm.
