Why do my parents have to be so immature, and why are my efforts to help people "wrong" or "not good enough"? It just makes me not want to help people anymore but I'm not like that. I enjoy helping others, especially if I care about them. I just wish I could do it the "right" way.

This is such a mood for me! I was feeling like no matter how much I give or help it was either not good enough or would be nitpicked or something, so I have completely shut down for now.

I think a good word of advice for myself, and perhaps could be useful to you as well, is to retreat, recover and recharge. Some people are just not worth the sacred energy invested into them when said energy can be invested into more productive/recharging things.

I do plan to recharge, but this is my parents we're talking about. They'll be back home later for me to deal with. I'd feel better if they just apologized but it's unlikely they will or at least one of them will.

Yeah. I am thinking that if they are immature then they will refuse to take responsibility for their actions or even be aware of it which makes me frustrated for you! Ough. You have a lot of strengths tolerating that. Lately I have just been snapping and I am not proud of it but I have my limits and I admire your patience. I am rooting for you.

They did apologize to me later so that was nice, but I do wish they had just done it sooner. Oh well, it's been done at least. I appreciate your kind words  I get my parents, my mom especially, are having tough times right now but there's only so much I can shoulder, so I just wanted to make them aware. I get they're past their limits but so am I, and there's only so much all of us can take.

I have been thinking of a couple of dreams. One was about this singing show that started a few weeks ago here, and the final contestant for the night sang Ponyphonic's "Lullaby for a Princess"! It was a gorgeous surprise, for no one there recognised the song, yet the crowd was brought to tears and loud cheering. I still cannot believe no judge voted for her at the end... 

The other dream was about somepony's birthday coming up soon. I can faintly remember all the messages they received when the date arrived, their emotional expression... I hope they will be just as happy, if not even more so, during that day.
