I'm talking about uploading older shows such as Rugrats, older SpongeBob, Ahh! Real Monsters etc. like the other networks do sometimes. 

It's as I said before, Hasbro realized they can still sell copies of their content or shows on physical media or digital distribution platforms because they know fans who can afford to will. And in doing so, they can avoid being bombarded with ads as well as not having to deal with Youtube's compression which reduces the quality of the video/audio. They're using a clever business model, they kept their shows free to watch on Youtube with caveats, while still making money from that and merchandise sales.

If Nickelodeon does not wish to do this, then that is their choice, but they are missing out, as ad revenue is a reliable stream of money for them.

Ebeneezer Scrooge really got a dose of reality, which was for the best for him because he found out what it means to be charitable and caring. There have been so many different variations of this story, even All Dogs Go to Heaven had a Christmas special about this.

I feel like a lot of YT channels have lost their whimsy, especially the review channels. You don't see YouTuber's doing skits anymore, they don't have goofy evil alter ego's anymore.

If they did not use that in the MLP Christmas special which I have not seen yet, but plan to on Christmas, it's truly a missed opportunity. Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy would work well for Discord and Fluttershy scenes.

AU's mean we get to explore different outcomes. Twilight Sparkle is so cute. <3

Perfectly reasonable to expect Equestria to have many different versions of it, some almost the same as each other, some dystopian (Queen Chrysalis' hostile takeover of the alternate future in The Cutie Remark), we can also assume some ended up wiped out of existence.

 

My fanfic I worked on months ago and probably will continue some point in the future, does not deal with dystopian outcomes, however, that does not mean life in Equestria would be easy. They still have to deal with hardships and challenges like other worlds do, however cute and fun their world may seem. Every world has its devil, is the catchphrase I use. I would not let that stop me from wishing to be in their world. I don't know about everyone else, but facing our fear, and yes Chrysalis is scary, is part of embracing friendship.

Sometimes I wonder about this myself. It's a compulsion. Sometimes I feel like I'm making right on all of it by turning a post into a TOME. Sometimes it's painful and not a good fit for the topic, but I just can't stop myself. It has something to do with isolation and loneliness, certainly. On the other hand, internet shorthand it not the ultimate evolution of human interaction and discourse. In fact, it is a step in the opposite direction. There, I said it. Some people roll with it. Some of us resist it.

Thank you, Bestie! Becoming a pony and settling down here in Equestria has been a big step in the right direction, regardless of the fact that the community functions through the internet. I've been involved in many fandoms over many years, MLP isn't the only one that is close knit, but there is no fandom that is as supportive or warm as Ponydom. Beyond that, it's not always just words. Equestria is also about art, music, singing, polished writing projects, cosplay, roleplay and most of all Horse Play. Those of us who discover Equestria are always the better, and less lonely for it. I do wish the conventions could go back to the way they were, I know they still happen on a smaller scale. Part of me wants to believe that when Gen 6 arrives, contrary to what many ponies expect or say now, it will all take off all over again. There's always a chance that Gen 6 will be a great thing, whether or not it is great in the same way that Gen 4 was.

I ordered some MLP posters online, my recommendation is get a frame for them, for protection, they last longer that way, and you could fit LEDs behind them if you wanted to make them glow.

I've got a framed Princess Luna poster. Is this cute?
