I wish The Arcana had a console release. That way I could play it forever instead of facing the possibility of losing the chance to play  it after it became part of a merger with a smaller, shady company. 
 

Speaking of video games… I wonder if/when we’ll get a remake of the Gen 5 Pokémon games? That would really make me feel weird considering that they were the last main series games in the franchise to use pixel art before permanently switching to 3D from Gen 6 onwards.

I spent so many days and nights literally crying over a fanfic I wrote (and orphaned) on AO3 because of how much I regretted writing it… only to check the stats for the first time in months to find out that it’s actually really popular.  

All this time I was crying over it because I worried about doing my favorite ship a serious injustice by writing something that I thought was embarrassing and cringey, only to find out that tons of people absolutely loved it.

It’s almost like people sensed the immense passion I felt while writing it and it touched their hearts. I’ve never understood why my writing has always been so highly regarded by other people. Personally if you asked me, I’d say that I’m a mediocre writer, but the stats on all of my fanfics are fairly impressive and numbers don’t lie.

It looks like I can go to a couple of furry meetups toward the end of the month. :yay:  I look forward to seeing and hugging some new friends I made recently, in addition to getting to know others. In the meantime, I am going to do more reading, in addition to easing my way back into cardio work (I have mainly been lifting weights when it comes to exercise).

Actually I'm trying to do the same thing. Get into doing cardio. My goal is to become a runner. I mainly lift weights but I'm trying to figure out how to throw some cardio in there as well. Do you have a game plan on how you're getting back into cardio?

I don't have any major plans in mind for cardio.  I am going to try to start with shorter jogging sessions and occasionally use the elliptical machines at my gym.

Oh ok.  I've mainly been doing the treadmill but I've not been seeing the sort of progress I had hoped.

I was making a little progress when I was doing cardio earlier.  I ended up taking a break from it while I quarantined as a result of getting COVID-19 (fortunately, my symptoms were mild). Additionally, my one of my earbuds failed, and I like to listen to music while using an elliptical (it can be boring without scenery, so music is a substitute; I should be getting my new earbuds tomorrow).  Furthermore, I got a nasty blister on my left heel from walking around in worn out sandals (I have replaced them), and it took awhile for that to heal.  I won't deny that I got a bit lazy on this, but I used to be lazy with weights, and now I never miss lifting unless I am sick (rare).  With perseverance, I can do the same with cardio.
