What is it about the reflections comic arc that has upset so many Bronies?

I just can't believe that so many of you can't get your head around the idea that Sombra and Celestia love each other?

I bought the comic, read it and then later reread it. I can't find where it actually says Celestia and Alternate verse Sombra are in love. I mean, it's sort of implied, but I don't see why everyone is already jumping to that conclusion. All we know is that Celestia was meeting someone in the mirror world, and the other Sombra is probably good and brought the injured Celestia to the mane six and Luna at the end of the first comic.

Think about it, starswirl bans Celestia from going to the parallel universe to protect two kingdoms. Last time I looked there were only two kingdoms in Equestria. Ergo, the only possible candidate is Sombra.

Oh has that arc started? I've always wanted to see MLP tackle some sort of parallel universe so I've been looking forward to it. How is it so far?

Well, again like you said it was implied and many (myself included) after having to wait a while will draw certain conclusions for lines of dialogue such as 

Celestia tearfully asking Starswirl for an opportunity to say goodbye.

 

 

Of course, there is also a subtle possibility that 

Starswirl is jealous and some kind of love triangle had formed after all of the time he and Celestia had spent together before realizing that she was travelling to alternate worlds without him, given the previous panels where it appeared as if they were treating their adventures as dates.

 

 

Plus, it doesn't make Celestia look to good when she said that Starswirl either had no friends or didn't understand the value of friendship (I don't remember which) at the end of 'Magical Mystery Cure' which makes her seem like a liar given their relationship in Issue #17.

 

Even if he is 'good', that doesn't necessarily mean they didn't have some sort of romantic involvement, especially since that's the only reason I could see her having to return to the alternate world in the first place.

Man, I have been hearing SO much about the comics as of late, I think I need to make the jump and get some, or at least read them!

 

As for Sombra and Celestia loving each other, I really don't care all to much, it actually sounds rather interesting!

It actually sounds like an interesting arc, but maybe some of the bronies don't think that an arc like this would work even in an alternate universe in the comic books.

Maybe it can be tolerable if this Sombra's an antihero similar to this guy:

 

 

I just can't see Sombra being a sap.
