I need to stop looking at Dailymail  :o
I think they're talking about stuff more akin to modern Spongebob and shiver Fanboy and ChumChum.

Certainly not. If anything, this year has been my intelligence at it's best! I've been watching MLP for two years now, and here I am two years later with nearly straight A's in high school.

I don't think I'm very stupid. Lol.

I thought I was reading an Onion article until I finally looked at the top of the page.  At least the Onion actually makes sense.

No, "study", your experimental methods are flawed, flawed, flawed, you jump to conclusions, and you're framing a problem that actually doesn't exist, and if this was actually peer-reviewed I have lost all faith in academia.

But if any cartoon featuring anthropomorphic animals were to make you stupid, MLP:FiM isn't one of them.

As a concerned intellectual being, my reaction is hahahahahahahahaha.

Here's my semester average GPA in school starting from 8th grade

8th grade 1st semester (just started watching FiM)   3.2

8th grade 2nd semester                                            3.4

9th grade 1st semester                                             3.5

9th grade 2nd semester                                            3.6

10th grade 1st semester                                           3.6

10th grade 2nd semester                                          3.7

11th grade 1st semester                                            3.8

11th grade 2nd semester (CURRENT)                       4.0

Yep, hahahahahahahaha.

  • 2 years later...

Why should I even care about what a desperated stupid media says about something they have no idea about by using a social generalization with no professional psychological or sociological study at all?

Many shows and kinds of media tend to say these things because it's just what hits on people minds, because it's "easy to understand" but it's too far from the truth. These things have no proper study behind, it's all just to gain audience or to look intelligent.
