Uh, actually I'd like to point out that G1 ponies (this includes tales) used human artifacts like plates and such. So they're just as much half-sentient vegetables as the G4 ponies...actually they're practically the same amount of sentient as the original cartoons because...ya know..they're not real..(whispers) it's a cartoon.
