RP

 

The Unova region is known for it's legendaries. Their conflicting viewpoints caused them to split into two - according to legend - after all. As of late, certain groups of people have grown to follow either Reshiram or Zekrom more than ever before, creating places of worship for them in almost every town. None of the residents of Unova seem to particularly mind, but the odd antics of everyone in the region is certainly a cause of alarm for some. Because of such, not many pokemon trainers travel through Unova as frequently anymore.

 

Trainers who do come, however, are rewarded with rare pokemon who normally aren't found in the Unova region, and other hidden oddities of the sort. Travelling through Unova may certainly be profitable, but also a bit different.

 

Rules

 

1. All forum rules apply.

2. All normal roleplay rules (No godmodding, Mary Sues, etc) apply.

3. Grammar is a nessecity! I'm rather picky when it comes to this, as bad grammar can ruin a RP for someone.

4. Romance is fine, just keep it kid friendly.

5. Wild pokemon, NPCs, and events on routes are controlled by yours truly. Not anyone else.

6. You may decide should an attack hit your pokemon or not. Just don't make it too overpowered.

7. Evolved pokemon are fine to start with, but I'd suggest starting with unevovled pokemon. This makes the most sense, as the pokemon you'll be catching will be unevolved.

8. Everyone starts with two or one pokemon.

9. TM moves will be treated the same as level up moves, and learned in the same manner.

Notes

 

 

• The starting town is Asperita City.
• The Nacrene City gym is open again, however, a trainer may only obtain one basic badge.
• The Trio badge is up for grabs again. Choose which leader to fight.
• Nate (The protagonist from Black/White 2) is now the champion.
• Trade evolution works like it does in the anime. You don't need to trade your pokemon for it to evolve. Simply give it the item, or level up if no item is required.
• There's no need to roleplay going to the pokemon centre. Simply state your pokemon were healed there.

Habitual liar, obsessive-compulsive, egotistical. However, also very protective, perceptive, and caring. Intelligent, but can get excited and lose his cool.

 

Where were you born?

 

Kalos.

 

Have you ever been traveling through a region before as a pokemon trainer?

 

Yep. Traveled Kalos, but didn't really take on the league in that region. Too busy doing things he found more important, effectively accomplishing very little as a trainer.

 

What pokemon have you brought with you?

 

Warden, his male Sandshrew. It's very brave, but hard to excite. Has the Sand Rush ability. Knows Dig, Roll-out, Defense Curl, and Fury Swipes.

 

Scout, his male Growlithe. It's a very jolly puppy, likes to chew on things. Has the Flash Fire ability. Knows Bite, Take-down, Fire Fang, and Agility.

Another Pokemon RP...  Do I want to apply?  Hmmm...  Oh who am I kidding, of course I'm applying.

 

Are you a boy? Or are you a girl?  What's that supposed to mean!?  I'm obviously a girl.

 

What is your name?  Lurele Steele!  You may not know it yet, but you will eventually.  I'm gonna be a Gym Leader, y'know.

 

What do you look like?  I've got really long, fiery red hair that falls almost to my knees.  I normally keep it in one really long braid though, to make it a little easier to manage.  It goes pretty well with my green eyes.  I'm fairly athletic, but I'm not some buff meat-head.  That would just be dumb.  As far as clothing I usually wear a red tank top and loose black pants that don't restrict movement too much.  My shoes are just something easy to move in, nothing fancy...  Oh, and I usually have black tape wrapped around the palms of my hands.

 

What's your personality like?  You mean other than awesome?  Heh, well...  Okay, I'm not that strong of a trainer yet, but that's because I'm just getting started.  I've got a great bond with my Pokemon though, I train hand to hand with them!  My main goal is to one day run my own fighting-type Gym.  I'm friendly enough, though I can have a bit of a one track mind if I'm really focused on something...  Oh, and...  Don't expect me to find some place without clear directions.  Like, ever.  Even with clear directions, there's a pretty good chance I'll get lost on the way there.  Or distracted by something.

What pokemon have you brought with you? 

 

1.  Riolu.  Male.  Ability:  Steadfast  

Knows Force Palm, Vacuum Wave, Foresight, and Endure.

Lurele's Riolu is very loyal and protective of his trainer.  He's somewhat on the serious side most of the time, and anyone who doesn't know him very well would probably say he has a hard time relaxing.  That's mostly because his favorite times are when he gets to spend time alone with his trainer without having to worry about anyone trying to hurt Lurele or anything along those lines.

Side note:  He has a small red scarf tied around his left arm.

 

2.  Torchic.  Female.  Ability:  Speed Boost

Knows Peck, Scratch, Focus Energy, and Ember

Her Torchic offers a good balance to her Riolu as far as personalities go, being nearly as carefree and curious as Riolu is serious.  She makes friends much easier than Riolu does, and often bothers Riolu to try and get him to play more.  Just because she's so much more friendly than the other Pokemon doesn't mean she's less useful in a battle by any means, of course.

Side note:  She has a small red scarf worn like a bandana around her neck.

What do you look like?

Long, smooth dark hair and crimson-red eyes. Fairly tall and skinny. Usually wears black clothing and often ties her hair to a ponytail when battling.

 

What's your personality like? 

Stubborn, defiant and hard to trust, Vivian surely isn't the friendliest type of person out there. She usually prefer to do things on her own, assuming that other people would just slow her down. However, what she lacks in affection, she more than makes up for it with remarkable determination and willpower. She's also very skilled in battling, and has an affinity for Psychic-type Pokemon.

Vivian has once been to Sinnoh during a business trip with her family.

Vivian's first and only Pokemon until now - she had been using her father's Pokemon to train until this Ralts egg finally hatched. Blair is timid and is usually scared of other Pokemon and people - except from her trainer, to which she's very fond of.

What is your name?  Cilla

 

What do you look like?  I have rather long red hair, that I keep in a ponytail, and blue eyes. I wear a blue scarf, gray shirt, and very light white coat. My pants are black as are my shoes though they have a little blue line across them. I also wear a locket with the Team Plasma symbol inside of it.

 

What's your personality like? I am quiet and gentle but not timid. I never really enjoyed Pokemon battles which is probably what led me to join Team Plasma, though that is a story for another time. Anyway, I'm easy to get along with though I usually tend to keep to myself. 

 

Where were you born? Floccesy Town in Unova. I loved playing with the Mareep in the ranch and would help out with some chores here and there.

 

Have you ever been traveling through a region before as a pokemon trainer? I traveled through most of Unova during my Plasma days. Since then I've stayed mostly in Floccesy Town while also going to Driftveil City to visit my old Team Plasma friends.

 

What Pokemon have you brought with you? My first Pokemon is Espeon who evolved only recently. She is a very calm and friendly Pokemon. We share quite a strong bond, or at least one strong enough for her to evolve. At the moment she knows Confusion, Swift, Refresh, and Helping Hand. She has the Synchronize ability.

 

My second Pokemon is a Mareep that I got from the nice people who live in the ranch. One day while I was helping with the chores the little thing kept following me around. Eventually the ranch couple  saw how much he liked me and let me keep him. He's a bit timid and doesn't like to battle very much so he hasn't evolved yet. His moveset is Thunder Wave, Thunder Shock, Charge, and Take Down. He has the Static ability.

What do you look like? I have short blue hair and green eyes. I normally wear two black bandannas, one around my neck and one on my head. I should also mention the bandanna I wear around my neck has the Team Plasma logo hidden underneath. I don't usually show that side of it since, well, people start acting different once they find out your Ex-Team Plasma, especially in Unova

 

What's your personality like? Unlike my older sister, Cilla, I'm rash and, according to her, hardheaded. I use to get into trouble a lot and really don't like being told what to do. The only thing I have in common with my sister is that we both like being by ourselves with only our Pokemon to keep us company.

 

Where were you born? I come from Floccesy Town. I always liked going over to Virbank City and listening to Roxie's band as well as seeing the new movies at Pokestar Studios. My sister never wanted to come with me though, she always liked hanging around that stupid ranch.

 

Have you ever been traveling through a region before as a Pokemon trainer? When I was with Team Plasma I ended up going through most of Unova on various missions. Past that no, but I hear Johto is nice.

 

What Pokemon have you brought with you? I have an Umbreon who knows Quick Attack, Confuse Ray, Feint Attack, and Helping Hand. He has the Synchronize ability. He is rather serious and keeps to himself a lot. The only person he'll listen to is me since we've known each other since he was an Eevee and have a strong bond.

 

My other Pokemon is a Haunter who I uhh..."borrowed" from another trainer while I was in Team Plasma. Not that it matters, he's grown quite fond of me. His moves are Hypnosis, Shadow Punch, Cruse, and Payback. He has the Levitate ability. He's very mischievous and lighthearted, playing tricks on other Pokemon and people. Especially Umbreon who can't stand his little pranks.

Hm...  Well, I'm definitely interested in potentially making a character for this (assuming that you're still accepting characters).  However, I don't know how active I can be.  So @@Leafeon, how often do you expect members to be on?

 

To give a taste of what I can promise, I'm working during the week, so I won't be active 9-5 on weekdays.  At absolute best, I could do a post per day, but could drop to as low as two to three posts per week.  So yeah, I understand if that doesn't work for you guys.

Your application looks good, but I think the pokemon need to be toned down a bit. The moves are a bit too OP for right now. I'd suggest getting rid of Sandstorm, Poison Jab, Flame Charge (That one might be ok, but ember would probably make more sense for right now), and Calm Mind. Please also include personalities of each pokemon.

 

Also, you can't start with the mega stones already in your possession. Not exactly fair, and it kinda ruins a story event that'll be happening fairly late in the RP.
