I tried to watch an episode of g3 and couldn't even sit through 25 minutes of it. But I think that they switched the personalities of rainbow dash and rarity. Just from what I watched it looks like "princess" rarity was like rainbow dash while rainbow dash was kind of a fashionista

 

Remember I only watched 15 minutes of an episode before all my brain cells melted

Admittedly, I havent really seen her in other generations, but I HIGHLY doubt that their Dashie is better than G4 Dashie. While she is kind of a jerk sometimes, it kind of makes the character more interesting, and adds contrast to the personalities of the Mane 6.
