I use the mobile version of the forums a lot and imm missing a few essentials. In my case i'd really like to see a button to look at your own profile and a button to see blogs. Thanks for your time.

Other little things that would make it work way better:

There seems to be no way to jump to a specific page on a thread. So if you want to get to the last page of a 60 page thread, then you'll have to hit "Next Page" 59 times.

Also while you can view status updates, there doesn't seem to be a way to view or post comments to it.

It would be nice if the mobile version was just completely updated in general, I've heard people even say that posting still requires 100 characters instead of 20 as the minimum. I kind of wish there was just an app of the forums, it is the biggest Brony forum on the web. But I think I remember someone saying it was too much work or there's not enough time for development or such, it would still be a good idea though.

This is a weird one, but even though the counter says that you need 100 characters, it will still let you post if you only have 20.

I don't know what the technical limitations are, but if I understand correctly the purpose of a mobile version of the site site is to be less intensive than the full version of a site, making it more easily accessible on a mobile device. I'm not sure whether or not it would be feasible to include the functionality that you wish to see. @Feld0, or @Justin ZW could give you a much better answer about that.

This happens sometimes. For example, even on the full version of the site it says that your post needs 20 characters minimum to go through in Cloudsdale Colosseum, when in actuality there is no character minimum there.

Ultimately, the character minimum indicator when posting is not always representative of the true character minimum. The best way to determine the true character minimum for any particular forum section is through referencing this FAQ article.

It really should be updated:

-You can't write or reply to status updates.

-Like said above, you can't jump pages, you have to actually hit the thing lots of times.

Maybe just these two things, would make the mobile version way more usable without killing the loading time.

It really need to be updated

-Missing some features seems like can't write or reply to status updates

-You can't jump pages (if the thread with a lot of pages it going to take some time)

I could be missing something but when I'm on my phone and I want to do something like check replies to a status or maybe brohoof someone, I go to the full version of the site by clicking the button at the bottom.

Is there a way to go back to the mobile version from the full version on a phone? Without clearing my browser settings first.

Change theme -> Mobile should work... it's at the bottom of the page, at least for me.

That's pretty easy,to say the truth.

At the bottom of the screen, you'll see a button who says Change Theme.Press it,and three options will appear:

-MLP Forums

-Mobile

-IP.Board

Press on the option who says Mobile, and you'll be back to the Mobile version.

I also want to address a complaint that I read up top that has an easy solution. It's a nice tip for newer users of the IPB Mobile theme. If you enter a topic with a high page count like Count to a Million or one of the Fan Clubs and you are new ... its a pain to wade through the hundred + pages that may be outdated. If this drives you crazy like an earlier poster mentioned, do the following:

Menu > Mark All As Read

Before if you wanted to go to the Banned Game you would have started at Feld0's original post back in 2011

Once you "Mark All As Read" you start a topic at the most recent post (or close to it ... that Banned Game moves quick)

Time travel without a Delorean or TARDIS!

Of course you can blind post to achieve the same result, but I wouldn't recommend that. :D
