A bit hard to hear but very nice piano skills. Certainly achieved that jazz feel, however I recommend adding a generic soft drum/base line to make it feel a bit more whole.

To me, sometimes, it really doesn't need a drumline. It is better to have a more freestyle for expression.

To each their own I suppose. I prefer piano in jazz to be more of an accent than a solo performance.

I put my laptop on top of the speaker on my keyboard and used the built in mic to record it... Here is a few with a bassline and drums. (I am playing the bassline with my left hand).

Honestly, I kinda prefer to record using a real piano. The clicks from the keyboard keys sort of distract from the melody.

Ah, I can improvise classical sometimes. But for the most part I do jazz.

I'm self-taught c:, save for about 6 months of piano lessons for sight reading.

Nice. Sight reading is always a good skill to have. I've got 15 years of piano on me (no boasting intended). Most of that is classical. But I have picked up Jazz, Rock, Metal and other styles. Maybe we can collab sometime.
