~Rule 63~ Lyeco 527 May 6, 2014 Share May 6, 2014 (edited) @@Rainbro Dash15 American Soldiers? Do you mean Nazi soldiers? (Insert mad face) OT: I describe them as fanboy war or some shoot like that. Because they kept proving MLP is not gay while the others keep saying it's gay. Andaasonsan 3,205 May 6, 2014 Share May 6, 2014 (edited) Bronies are just people who like a cartoon and the haters are people who troll the bronies. There isn't really much more to it. Digit 321 May 6, 2014 Share May 6, 2014 I wouldn't think of them as anything other than what they are Bronies- A fandom of the show My Little pony friend ship is magic, consisting of Teen and Adult Men and Woman who enjoy the show. Anti Bronies- People who make it their business to make other peoples business their own. Someone who feels what they deem as right is the only right and there for anyone who is diffrent is wrong AKA Fox News

Amber Rays 42 May 6, 2014 Share May 6, 2014 As they say, like minds are like kinds. That's something I'll have to agree with these days. How I see the whole issue is that you have men and women, girls and boys who enjoy and like to share their enjoyment of a common show and then you have another group who dislike those people for sometimes superficial reasons such as social stigma and gender stereotypes, laughable reasons that can only be expressed by childish ad hominem attacks and slurs, sometimes for semi-legit reasons such as the existence of certain unsavory content on the internet concerning one particular theme. It might sound crazy, but to me anyways, I just see them as another part of the fandom whether they like it or not. They spend time creating content (videos, pictures, websites, ect.), finding bronies out on the internet, chatting on forums and comments sections and talking about the show much like we do. It's just instead of us who discuss it on the "pro" side of the spectrum, they're on the "anti" side of the spectrum. It's no wonder that some of the haters eventually become bronies themselves or are on the verge of doing so. The moment you start thinking too much about My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and start letting it into your life for some reason, is the moment you're on the path to brony-dom. Let's face it, for some of the haters out there. If you can't stop bringing up and/or talking about My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic... chances are you might be a closet brony. Just time to accept it, stop hating yourself and come out to join your fellow pony people in the heard. We're actually very nice once you get to know us. Come on, I've baked rainbow cupcakes... the g-rated recipe of course. Of course this is discussing the online brony haters and not the general bullies that will pick on you for just about anything really. The latter really need to find something else to keep their hands busy like a different hobby or something. As always this is just my own opinion. Feel free to totes form your own brah!
Shanks 10,817 May 6, 2014 Share May 6, 2014 Brony haters equals Nazi's? We are really seriously going there? It is quite simple actually bronies like cartoon ponies and haters waste their precious by going out of their way to bully/flame/troll bronies because of their own insecurities. There are plenty of people who have no problem with bronies who cartoon ponies are simply not their thing but I don't count them as haters. Lightning Bliss 1,674 May 6, 2014 Share May 6, 2014 I've never actually experienced being 'hate on' by anti bronies. But if I could describe it based off what I read and hear from others, its simply the classic human case of hating on something they fear, is out of the norm to them, or insinctual hatered to something they don't understand. It's in human nature unfortunetly to hate something that isn't right to them... History plays out on similar situations. I know that though based off history, in time this will fade, and humans will find something new to hate. I'm just a silly little alicorn, trying to get by in the fandom ^^ The Lightning Bliss Show Lightning Bliss DevianArt
Thespian 78 May 6, 2014 Share May 6, 2014 Brony haters are people who hate MLP and bronies who represent the "small" minority of people who do porn, act out their love for MLP in an extravagant manner in public, and are outright invasive and annoying with their love for MLP. Their hate for the entire fandom is highly generalized and there is no reasoning with them. The only non bronies you can reason with are those who don't understand the fandom but accept that it makes people happy in some way. Bronies are those who love MLP and group together to enjoy the show. They range form those who perform music, draw art, write stories, and make memorabilia, to those who make porn and other more questionable things. Most bronies just want to be left alone to love the show while a few people want the world to accept them for who they are even though it might bring a bad image of the fandom as a whole.Speaking OOC for a bit, It can be a bit embarrassing how some bronies act. The meet up videos and other more "Cringey" bronies do make it hard to be apart of this fandom. I just hope one day society moves on from needlessly hating us and the fandom as a whole doesn't try, whether accidentally or on purpose, to make a bad name for itself. Throwaway19573639385 764 May 6, 2014 Share May 6, 2014 (edited) I just have one word to describe the entire argument, the entire clash of haters and whatever you're part of. Pointless. It's pointless. Bronies aren't jews, haters aren't nazis. Bronies aren't helpers, saviors or motivators and neither are haters depressing or retarded. Nobody is special in any way, so we shouldn't act like we are. It's inevitable that people will act negatively, that's what happens when you give yourself a label, people will react to it. Live and let live people, ignore anyone who's clashing against you for no reason, because those who mind who you are don't matter and those who matter don't mind. Swirl 90 May 6, 2014 Share May 6, 2014 People who hate on MLP either aren't tolerable of things that are different (ie. people challenging gender stereotypes), only see the bad side of the fandom (insert c word), or are just hating on it because everyone else is. Most of my friends are confused about it but don't judge people just because they are bronies, but as soon as someone calls MLP "gay" I ignore them forever (although if they use "gay" in any insulting fashion I tend to have the same reaction ). I wouldn't depict the bronies as being war heroes in particular (some can be aggressive as hell) but usually when people hate on bronies I feel more like a victim. :| Luckily that's very much not the case among my online friends and on forums like these.
