Iselia really was a small town - barely a village, really.  A few small buildings, most of them seeming to serve as both residential and functional.  The only thing really telling them apart were the small signs hung over the doors.  Not that it mattered right now - it was early enough that most of them weren't open for business anyways.

In the center of the town square was a large tree, a small wooden fence set up around it.  Lhee was currently perched on the fence, one leg dangling over the side and the other up on top with his knee held to his chest.  The Umbreon-Morph seemed half asleep, and was currently glaring at a much larger man a few feet away from him.

The larger man currently under Lhee's scrutiny was, for a lack of a better word, huge.  He had dark skin, offset by his mane of white hair, though one bang falling down over his face was a dark black.  The claws on his fingers and the bladed tail marked him as an Absol-Morph:  'Shade', the one who had organized this entire thing.  "Kid, you look tired.  You should be getting some rest instead of staring at me like that."

"I'm fine, and don't call me kid!  My body doesn't sleep at night, and my mind can't sleep in the day...  I would normally be asleep right now, but you scheduled this stupid meeting for first thing in the morning."  Lhee tapped his fingers against the handle of one of his daggers - he didn't know why, but there was something about 'Shade' that he didn't like.

"I'll stop calling you kid when you get big enough to do something about it.  And quit fingering that bloody knife, I already told you it wouldn't do you any good against me."  Judging by the claymore that was nearly dragging on the ground behind the other man, that was probably a fair assessment.

"I've gone on more missions than you have..."

"You've also failed more than I have."  At that Lhee snarled quietly, and 'Shade' just shrugged in response.  "You wanna trade low blows, go ahead.  But I'm better at it."

"Why are you even here?  I figured it was to make sure I actually showed up - well, I'm here, aren't I?  You can scram."

"I'm here to give your team their first assignment once they show up...  Now shut up and wait, you're getting on my nerves."

Sighing loudly, Lhee props his cheek up in his palm as he turns his glare away from the Absol-Morph.  He hoped the others started showing up soon...  And he hoped they were easier to get along with than the jerk he was sharing the town square with currently.

Naomi's morning had been a good one as she proceed to the area in question within Iselia. Getting up early like she always did, the Luxray morph enjoyed the plains just outside the town. As the sun was just rising over the horizon, Naomi was running and stretching, kicking and punching into thin air against an imagine opponent. It had been so long since she had had to fight, but as an outcast...one would quickly learn that words didn't always guarantee one's safety. Yeah it was painful when she'd accidentally fall in her self-training, scraping or cutting herself as she worked to exhaustion, but there was a fight for hope and a life of belonging that kept her pushing on. The others didn't see her, didn't see the young starving girl with blue ears and a starred tail on the streets throughout her childhood. None of them saw the pain or the true her. There had to be a day soon where the hurt would end...but it was not this day. Her swift fists and kicks still swished through the wind, her cries of fury still filling the barren fields.

The town wasn't too active as it was still early, but the tailows still chirped with the pidgeys and starlys. Naomi's bold orange eyes glanced around the quiet streets in her casual step, hearing the quiet bark of a growlithe somewhere further south. She was a little more calm in not having to worry about being prejudiced by the passing bigots, but her ears still twitched instinctively in her messy dark hair. Reaching into the small sack she carried on her belt to her hip, Naomi brought out a small slab of tauros jerkey, chewing it hungrily as she neared the tree.

W-what? There are two morph there like me. Naomi stopped, eyeing the pair for a moment warily, unsure of whether or not she should approach. They didn't exactly look friendly and the knives the one carried in the tree was enough to scare someone away. Tensing up a little, Naomi built up enough nerve and walked forward to the tree, readying her normal facade of the arrogant flirt. "Ehrm..." she cleared her throat as she neared the bottom of the tree. "I guess this is the place isn't it. I'm surprised though. I thought I'd have to work with a bunch of unattractive males...guess I was wrong." Naomi was sure to wink at the one in the tree, mainly for the purpose of maintaining awareness of his knives.

@@Umbreon@@Aerodynas,

Aolani wandered up and down the streets of the town she was supposed to find someone in. What was the town's name again? Iselia? That sounded right. Needless to say, Aolani was rather lost. The Altaria morph, despite being a flying dragon, had no wings to speak of. The odd, fluffy feathers rested on her arms, and were therefore covered by her outfit. Not like she could do much with them anyway. The girl looked far more human than pokemon. One would only know she was a morph due to her tail and head feathers. As well as perhaps the fact she blushed in a white colour, as opposed to a red one.

This was most likely a bad idea. Many people had looked at her funny as she passed. This was most likely due to her extravagant outfit as opposed to her feathers and white turning cheeks. It was indeed a bit... odd. A long, fluffy dress colored in sky blue and white. Not to say it didn't look pretty on her, of course. Aolani was a rather beautiful specimen. She'd never admit to it, however.

What was even odder than her get-up was what she carried. A halberd, apparently. She held it wrong as well, obviously inexperienced. Aolani had never really fought anyone before, except for a few times that were all fuzzy for some reason. When she was asked to join a rescue team of sorts by an Absol morph, the girl had been completely dumbfounded. She had accepted, quite too docile to decline something to someone's face. It didn't help manners that her "friend", a Bellossom morph, had been egging her on at the time.

Eventually, the girl had managed to find Shade. The Absol morph she had met quite some time ago. He seemed nice enough, but two other people were there. Both looked to be morphs, with their pokemon features far more evident than hers. It took her some time to speak up, as the other two were rather intimidating, one even sporting daggers. Her trust halberd could do nothing against something like that. "Uh..." She began, clearing her throat. Aolani spoke with a somewhat musical voice, not bizarre for a morph of a pokemon known for their amazing voices. The skin on her cheeks began to turn a bit paler, almost white. "Excuse me, but... this is where I'm supposed to be for the 'rescue team' right?"

'Merric'

@@Leafeon@@Umbreon@@Aerodynas,

'Merric' had shown up shortly after the other big one and his tired friend had shown up. It may have been a nice day but he wasn't interested in the relaxing today, it was unlikely that some would have asked for him without anything in mind. (Even though it was obvious that the two weren't friends... Curious.) Though once he saw the one he was to meet he was unsure that he wanted to approach until there where others around... The Absol morph was a bit intimidating and chances shouldn't be taken as far as that claymore was concerned. So he simply sat nearby and let his spear rest against the wall while using the shield as a headrest and observed the two until others showed, he doubted he was fooling anyone but he didn't much care... Besides, its not like he looked much like a morph.  *'Hmm... Judging by their behavior i doubt the two are friends. The Absol seems a bit antagonistic though, not sure i like that... Heh, however the Umbreon's attitude is rather amusing, possibly maintains his morphs nocturnal habits?... Quite possible, wonder what else was carried over.'*

After a bit a Luxray morph passed by to meet up with the pair as well, seemed like an interesting sort if quite sure of herself. Fitting true with her appearance and manner but that was rarely all that there was to another.  *'Great... now i'm hungry. Irrelevant, food later business first. Plenty of confidence at least... Though i'm not so sure that the tenseness adds up to that impression, wary perhaps?... Hmm, needs further study.'*

Then another girl passed by to, presumably, meet up here as well... It was difficult to notice but she seemed to be an... Altaria Morph? Her features seemed to merely reflect as human, odd. Not often when the heritage doesn't outwardly reflect on their kind. Still though, the feathers and tail gave it away.  *'Heh, why is she wearing a dress? I know that i'm only wearing pretty average clothing and all but at least i brought a chain shirt along with me... Doubtless she seems harmless enough if a bit innocent. Possibly i misjudged the invitation?... Well that would be unfortunate.'*

Regardless after the Luxray showed up 'Merric' decided it was safe enough now, unlikely that she'd back down should one of the pair prove aggressive so backup was at hand should a fight happen... It would be needed considering the Absol morph but (Hopefully) unnecessary. So he waved towards the pair they where to meet and started with. "I'd point out that every mission failed teaches one just as much if not more but i don't really know the 'missions' that your referring to so i'm a poor judge..."  *'And i don't really want to get stabbed or cut asunder for expressing opinions so yeah...'*  "Regardless to hopefully provide a correct answer for you lovely ladies questions i believe this is in fact the spot... either that or these two have been sitting here 'conversing' for the past little while with no purpose in mind but i doubt that." He then eyed the Luxray in a half sarcastic manner. (Though he was still mostly being lazy.) "I wouldn't worry too much miss. I'm sure that i fulfill your requirement unattractive male of the group even if i cannot promise that all of them will be as such..."

Bethany wandered through the village, anxious to meet this 'Shade' again. But then, she remembered that she probably wasn't the only one he'd approached about being part of a Rescue Team. She stopped and looked back, as if considering just going home and forgetting about this whole thing before she ends up getting killed or something. All that fell away when she realized her stick was missing.

'Oh no! Not that! I don't think I can focus my powers without it! What am I going to do?' She thought as she started panicking. Then it came to her. Instead of worrying about the stick she'd lost, she could just pick up a new one. It was just a plain average stick one could find on the ground anyway. Once she had a new one, she was glad for having a Braixen's hands and the claws that go with them as she started whittling the stick down, carefully shaping it into a simple wooden wand. 'There. I made a wand.'

"Yay." She exclaimed quietly, not noticing where she was going as she nearly ran into a lady with a rather extravagant dress. "Oh, uh...S-sorry. I'll be more careful next time..."

Aolani froze somewhat when she heard a new voice. It belonged to a man, one of fairly intimidating stature. In all fairness, the Altaria morph found most beings intimidating. She might have been a dragon, but Altaria weren't exactly known for their ferocity. Infact, Altaria were commonly known to be one of the cutest dragons, save Goodra. Regardless, Aolani acted like a flying type far more than that of a dragon type.

"Ah..." She began in a soft voice, trying to reply to the man's statement. He looked to be a regular person. Was she missing something here?  "Alright. Thank you... sir." Aolani felt terribly out of her element. All these people scared her. Joy.

@@Windbreaker,

Then something bumped into Aolani. Something that was much less intimidating than the other creatures about, to be precise. She was so obviously a morph, as the girl who had bumped into her had quite a lot of fur, a tail, and even ears of a pokemon as opposed to a human. However, the bump caused Aolani to lose grip of her halberd, causing it to fall out of her hands and onto the ground. Fortunately, it didn't hit anyone. Also fortunate, it hadn't been sent flying too far away.

"No! It's fine!" Aolani said, in a surprisingly happy voice. She then went to pick up her halberd. She liked this girl. If she was here due to Shade as well, then this might not be as bad as she had originally thought.

"You know you wouldn't have dropped that had you been holding right." a boy says to Aolani as she picks up her halberd, seemingly appearing out of nowhere. In truth he did. The boy's name was Henry and, being a Haunter Morph, he was able to appear and disappear at will. It seems he had been standing there for awhile and choose now to reveal himself. "If this had been a battle you would probably be dead by now, laying in a pool of your own blood. All red and kind of sticky. Coming out of various wounds and staining your dress a dark red. Mmmm." Henry closes his eyes and shivers a bit while describing the scene before snapping back to reality. "Uhh...Anyway you should grip your weapon better. We can't have anyone dying on us this soon!" he says enthusiastically. The boy wore a grin that was a bit off-putting considering he just went on about Aolani laying in a pool of her own blood.

"I found more then're gonna show up, they didn't all accept the offer.  Now introduce yourself or something, we're still waiting for one of 'em anyways."

As Lhee started to turn to jump down from the fence, suddenly Henry had approached him about his daggers.  Lhee's eyes go wide for a moment as he snatches one of his daggers out of his belt - it was still in its sheathe, how did he prick his finger?  After just a moment of thinking it was pretty obvious though - ghost type, he just went through the sheathe.  "Don't do that...  And wait, what?  No one is sacrificing anything, thanks."

Lhee turns his attention back to the others, looking over each of them and making mental notes of who he was going to be working with from now on.  After a couple moments he clears his throat, leaning back against the fence where he'd been sitting while absently using a hand to brush some dust off of his tanned leather armor.  "I'm assuming you're all here to join Team Sol.  If you're not, well you're in the wrong place."  The Umbreon-Morph smirks slightly, one of his small canine fangs visible.  "If you are, well...  Welcome, nice to meet you, etcetera.  My name's Lhee, and its my team you've been invited to join."  He spares a small glare towards 'Shade' again at that last part, but quickly redirects his attention back to his new team mates.

"Eh...?" Aolani said, as she heard a voice coming from behind her, lecturing her on the proper ways of holding a weapon. Or, at least, the fact she was doing it wrong. The altaria morph could most certainly hold a halberd correctly, though she had let her guard down, so this guy's lecturing was not something she payed much attention to. Where had he come from, anyway?

When the girl heard what else the boy was saying, she froze and tensed up. What was he talking about? The description the man's words had painted was grotesquely clear, and quite frankly terrified her. Aolani's grip on her halberd suddenly got tighter, and she brought it up slightly as to point it at the man, not acknowledging the last bit he had said. Furthermore, he had already walked away, so she was pointing her weapon at the air.

Aolani dropped her halberd into one hand, and rubbed the back of her head. That was odd. She didn't see him walk away. The events of this caused Aolani's face to go blank, completely ignoring what the Umbreon morph was saying.

Annoyed, Naomi put her hands over her ears and portrayed a look of frustration until the Umbreon morph began talking. Finally the meet and greet is over...She placed her taped hand upon her hip and scuffled her foot on the ground. Crap..Naomi looked down and notice she had forgotten to go back and get her boots. Wriggling her small, dirt-covered toes in the town grass, the Luxray morph merely shrugged. At least they were still tightly taped.

Bethany had been nervous before, but with the new arrival talking about the lady dying, she wrapped her bushy tail around herself and half-crouched behind her. Her ears flattened behind her head and she looked as if she was about to cry. It didn't take Keen Eyes to see that Bethany was scared, likely for a number of reasons. She seemed timid and shy, she was unarmed aside from her wand (which was practically harmless compared to the weapons some of the others carried), and she was probably far from home.

After a moment, she gathered up the courage to talk again. She timidly stepped out from behind the lady she'd bumped into when Lhee had told them to introduce themselves. "My name's Bethany. Or you can call me Beth if you like. I don't mind." She said in a quiet tone, speaking eloquently for someone on the verge of tears. Once she finished introducing herself, she went right back to hiding behind the lady in the dress. Her timid nature tended to get the best of her, especially at times like this.

Gallin looked upon the small town on the horizon with his unnaturally black and yellow eyes, the earliest lights of the new day slowly dawning. He inhaled deeply, and readjusted his grip on the large mass he had carried on his broad shoulder. He paced himself in approaching the village, apprehensive at the notion of meeting new people. The figure who had approached him some time ago, Shade, was someone Gallin could respect. He had the invitation to go off and hone his skills in valiant combat alongside those of his own kind.

This was exciting, Gallin thought. He never knew many people, he had always felt himself alone in this world. But, the thought that there was others like him, others like that Shade. He resolved that he had to make a good impression. He had gone to great trouble to prepare a gift, most extravagant, for his new compatriots. Surely such fine warriors would appreciate his offering.

He made his way to the town square, and perked up his posture from a hunched over one to stand at his full, and impressive, stature. He heard voices, and saw a group of people, though Gallin didn't take the time to consider any of them on an individual level, his heart racing at an incredibly high pace. At about half a dozen meters away from the group, he dropped his peace offering in front of him.

"Me, Gallin. Bring gift." He said in a thunderous and baritone voice.

At a closer inspection, one would notice what exactly this gift was. A plump, fully-grown, and quite dead Emboar.

Whatever Lhee had been in the process of saying was cut off by Gallin's arrival, and the loud thud as he dropped his 'gift' to the ground.  "What the hell?"  The cautious Umbreon's hand had gone to one of his daggers at the Gabite's loud voice, though he quickly made himself bring it away from the weapon's handle.

"Good, you're all here now.  Listen up, I've got places to be so I'm not repeating myself.  Your first assignment is to report to the town of Mivenpool."

"Are we seriously not going to discuss the giant dead Emb-"

"There you will find one of my organization's outposts.  It is going to serve as Team Sol's headquarters for the time being.  On the way there, you're to pass through the Wolf Woods.  There is a pack of Mightyena in the woods that has grown to critical sizes and has started attacking travelers to feed itself.  If something isn't done it's going to break into multiple packs and fan out, making them all the harder to keep in check."

"Really, you're just going to ignore-"

"Once you arrive at Mivenpool, a man named Yamato will guide you to the outpost.  As the leader of Team Sol, you'll be expected to follow Lhee's orders while in the field."  'Shade turns to look at Lhee at this point, a condescending look on the Absol's features.  "Try not to let any of them die on your first assignment together."

Lhee sighed as he watched 'Shade' walking away, before slowly turning his gaze to look over his new companions.  He let one hand rest on the handle of one of his daggers absently, the other reaching down to pick up a leather pack and swing it over his shoulder.  "...Well, you heard the arse.  We'd probably better get moving.  Anyone have any questions, or need to pick anything up?  The shops here should be opening soon, I have enough provisions to get us to Mivenpool at least though...  Thankfully it's not too far from here."

An Altaria Morph that couldn't hold her weapon right and was afraid of battle, an Alakazam that seemed rather judgmental (not that Henry cared much about what others thought of him anyway), a Luxray who looked to be more interested in flirting than fighting, and a Braxian that seemed about as timid as the Altaria, though perhaps he could convince her to help him with some hexes or something considering the wand she carried.

All in all Henry was a bit disappointed though not very surprised. No one really shared his love of dead things, much less understood it. As such he started listening to what Lhee had to say considering he looked to be the leader of the group along with the Absol. That is until he came in. "Is that dead flesh I smell?" Henry said quietly to himself. When he turns around, Henry sees a rather large man drop a fully grown Emboar to the ground, calling it a 'gift'. "Ooooh he looks like fun!" Henry thinks as he walks up to the new arrival ignoring everything Lhee and the Absol were saying.

"You killed that thing huh?" he asks the man. Upon further inspection Henry noticed fins on the man's arms as well as rough skin accompanied by battle scars, red war paint, and fairly large muscles on his bare chest. It was clear this man was half orc a Gabite Morph. "Hmm. Yep that thing's dead all right. Looking at the wounds it must have been a quick battle. Not bad." Henry says impressed. "Those are some nice scars by the way." he says looking at the man's gashes closely. "I'd say that one is from a Scyther, that one is definitely a Zangoose and uh...Ooh that one was from a Charizard." Henry says as he points to each scar. "You get around don't ya big guy? What's your name anyway? I'm Henry." he says introducing himself.

Bethany gulped and straightened up, slowly unwrapping herself from her large tail. While the new arrival, Gallin, was intimidating, she couldn't help but feel that the gift he brought could be swiftly turned into bacon with some time and care, and someone who knew which parts to cut and which parts to leave alone. But the lady she was hiding behind, Aolani, seemed to be tense. Thinking of an idea that might help, she reached into her pocket and drew out some dried berries she had from the previous day and gently tugged on Aolani's sleeve to get her attention.

"Um, are you ok, Miss? You seem tense. Would you like some dried berries?" She asked, barely raising her voice as she spoke. At least she'd distracted herself a bit with her concern. Now she just needed to extend it to the rest of the team as well.

Naomi sighed again loudly from boredom. Admittedly, the others in the group were...more than apt and confident in themselves in some form or another, as though they were competing for recognition from our apparently bosses. Meh, it was their objective, not mine. Sitting down on the hard ground, the Luxray morph began rubbing her dirtied feet for a moment before loosening her firm tape she had wound about them and up to the ankle. As soon as she had removed them, Naomi leaned back and laid against the ground, tucking her hands behind her head and bounce her leg playfully over the other. Mivenpool huh? Alright, whatever.

"So how much are we getting paid for this?" Naomi trumpeted, still laying back carelessly on the ground.

Though Merric listened passively to Shade's listing of the mission objectives he was quite pleased inwardly, even smirking a little at the mention of the Mightyena. (Even Lhee's reactions where amusing, a promising start indeed.) *'Nice to be working and all but... Must our first mission really involve something that i can't fight at maximum efficiency. Even worse than that but in addition to being less than useful i'm also very likely to die due to our prospective opponents nature, what a horrible chance at a first impression... Good, a proper challenge. This aught to be interesting indeed.'*

After taking in the information and listening to Lhee's questions Merric waited for the others to respond in some way... Though they seemed little interested in the mission itself and more interested in one another. *'Berries and jerky? Am i the only one who didn't bring a snack of some sort?!?..... That will have to be rectified soon.'* Then Naomi asked about payment and Merric figured that he'd ask his own question while the others where busying themselves with talk so he rolled his shield to the side and stood up before slinging it across his back and ensuring that it wouldn't shift around before grabbing his spear and taking a polite step towards Lhee and offering his free hand. "In addition to seconding Naomi's question i'd like to ask if there is by chance an armory nearby. I'm afraid that i'd be under-equipped to fight something so suited to my demise and would like to pick up an additional weapon to supplement my current arsenal."  *'Seeing as most of my abilities are useless... Well directly at least.'*  "... Though i would like to add that my own supplies should be enough for me, though i thank you for the offer."

Lhee sighed quietly as he offered one hand towards Naomi to help her back to her feet, responding to both of them at once.  "Couldn't say.  I can honestly tell you that I know as much about this assignment as you do - that arse Shade didn't tell me anything.  I'm assuming the pay will happen whenever we get to Mivenpool."  Turning his gaze towards Merric, Lhee jerks his head towards one of the buildings.  Lights seemed to be coming on in them - it looked like Iselia was waking up for the day.

"That building over there serves as the town's forge...  Don't expect too much though, Iselia is a farming village.  Their good iron is usually spent on plows and Ponytashoes.  They might have some copper blades you could pick up or something, I dunno.  Don't worry too much, I've served as a medic before, as long as you don't go and suffer a fatal blow I should be able to patch up any holes you happen to get."

@@Windbreaker,@@Vaporeon, @@Leafeon,  @,

"If no one else needs to get anything, let's start making our way towards the Woods."  He figured it wouldn't take Verric long in the forge and the other Morph could easily catch up.  "It'll take us a couple days to get to Mivenpool if we're cutting through the brush rather than taking the roads, so the sooner we get moving the better."  He lets his gaze drift back towards the dead Emboar again, before looking at Gallin.

"Er...  Thanks for the gift, big guy, I don't think any of the rest of us are big enough to carry it though.  I guess you can lug it around if you want and we could try to make use of it later...  Or we could give it to the townspeople here, if you don't want to carry it."  With that said Lhee starts to walk towards the edge of town, in the opposite direction that Shade had gone a short while ago.  He assumed the others would follow - or if not, maybe they HAD been in the wrong place.  Either way it didn't seem to concern him that much.

"Ahh, sorry to remind you about that then and thank you for the directions. Though i'm much relieved that you have some medical skill as while i do not plan to get hit..."  *'Quite the opposite in fact as my remaining abilities leave me with rather defensive options.'*  "Its certainly comforting to know that dying is not part of the plan. "A pleasure to work with you miss and sorry to be too forward but could you hold onto this" He said as he made a gesture to his spear which he questioningly holds out to her.  "for me when you presumably follow the rest?... ((My apologies for the slow reply. I didn't get the notif.))

Aolani sighed, knowing there was no point in getting so worked up. She'd have to get out of here, or something. There was no way in Arceus' name she could hold her own on the battle field with people like these all about!

This determination to get away from all these odd people was basically diminished as she heard Beth's voice from behind her. She hadn't felt the pool on the sleeve, as the feathers on Aolani's arms dulled most sense of touch there, but she certainly noticed the voice. "Oh, no thank you, but I appreciate the offer!" She said, cheerily, finishing her sentence with a soft hum. This 'Bethany' character was far too adorable for her to just abandon. Such an act would simply be a disgrace!

As Lhee began to walk off, Aolani hesitated for a second, before nodding. She gently grasped one of Beth's hands and smiled at her, resting her halberd in her free hand. "Let's go, okay?"

Bethany dropped her wand in surprise when Aolani held her hand. She hesitated for a moment as she considered pulling away. After all, what if she got hurt again like her last 'friend' had hurt her? But that smile. It seemed so genuine and warm, or at least, that's how Bethany saw it. She put her berries back in her pocket and picked up her wand, smiling shyly back at Aolani, though she couldn't help the blushing.

"Alright." She said in a happier tone of voice, content to let Aolani lead on. "Um...Aolani, was it? Would you, um... would you like to be friends?"

Naomi felt better at ease when informed that the payment in question would be at the location of the mission directive. It seemed somewhat too polite when the Lhee character helped her to her feet, which were still bare and posed the thought of the need of her sandals. All the others in the group seemed to be getting along simple enough. Meh, whatever. Guess I should get moving and let them chat. With an abrupt turn, Naomi nearly collided into the only other morph that she hadn't been directly assessing minus his comment from earlier. Backing away a bit to size the man up, the girl decided to attempt  to understand her cohort in the objective. She opened her mouth to speak before he soon caught her off guard by handing his spear out for her to take.

"Er, hold this for you? How about no. I'm not your Tauros to haul your junk everywhere for you," Naomi retorted a little more offended than she should have been before she sighed in frustration and took his spear. She decided she wasn't going to look at him as she grumbled. "Go do whatever ya want, but don't take too long...and don't forget the food.

Gallin looked at the strange boy, a thoroughly bewildered expression on his face. Said boy was pointing at each of Gallin's scars, and commenting on them, attributing their origins to names the half-orc gabite morph was unfamiliar with. He got one from Sharp-Bug, another from Fierce-Cat, and the last the scrawny boy had pointed out was from Flying-Fire-Lizard. Whatever these 'Scyther', 'Zangoose', and 'Charizard' were, Gallin would very much like to know; primarily so that he could hunt them down.

"Me, Gallin." The brute repeated, irritated. This little boy was clearly not who he was working with. Surely he was just the spawn of one of the other fine warriors gathered by Shade. Or, at least, that's what Gallin thought before he looked at the rest of the gathered individuals. Was this a 'prank'? Gallin heard about those once; he didn't quite understand the concept. Regardless, these certainly aren't the kind of people Gallin was expecting: puny men, and even some womenfolk. Had Shade deceived him?

To make matters more disreputable, Shade had excused himself, and left one of the slim, shady fellows in charge. This person, Lhee as Shade had called him, was who Gallin was supposed to expect to follow? Gallin kept his suspicions to himself; he chose to trust Shade up till this point, and if he backed out now, he might seem weak. He'd much rather carry this 'team's' burden all by himself then for them to think he wasn't capable of such. He picked up the Fire-Pig he had dropped on the ground, grumbling in regret that he had gone to such lengths for such an ungrateful and pathetic lot, and started to walk down the same path that Lhee had, not paying any of the others any mind.

He wasn't interested in getting know any weaklings, after all.
