Right there off to the left of Sweet Apple Acres is Golden Harvest's carrot farm.  Did you miss it?  It has been shown several times.

To be honest, I never payed attention to the Carrot Farm but now I realize that it was there the whole time. Carrot Top probably owns it.

It was prominently shown at night at the end of 3:8 when they showed the 2 comets denoting the absence of AJ's parents.

 

The first picture was from episode 1:1.

At first I'd paid no attention to it. Then I played Gameloft's FiM game. I'd come to notice it a bunch of times afterward.

I've always thought it was just another building on the Apple property. I never considered the possibility that it was a neighbor. Though I still doubt it.

It's shown every time the Apple Farm is. Hard to miss a house that looks like a giant carrot

 

Thing is, it doesn't matter much because nothing's came of it, so I really don't think much of it.
