I would argue that, like all crazy cartoon characters, she doesn't even need money for those, as she appears to simply will specific objects into existence when it is funny to have them nearby.

Pinkie Pie obviously gets her money from Hasbro themselves, they pay her to not cross into our reality otherwise the mane 6 would love their collector's value and they won't make anymore money off of Pinkie toys.

I really see why Pinkie needs to rent off the Cakes place. Because she spends all her money on these machines and party material. I think she is either insanely rich or is on some pony welfare program. Seriously how can Pinkie afford all these things? I thought Fluttershy was poor, but it might be Pinkie.

 

Well, how I see it, she may get paid for throwing some of her parties. ^^
