My thought on Silver Spoons cutie mark.

Because she is just so stupid, and seems to have no self thoughts on anything. She just does anything Diamond Tiara does.

Well, that's what the character was meant to do. She is a snooty brat's sidekick. We saw that a lot in TV shows.

Well, I have heard a few fan theories about her and Diamond Tiara being jerks to others because their Cutie Marks/special talents don't really mean anything aside from being spoiled brats...and they bully others because they are jealous that they actual HAVE practical talents so they target the Cutie Mark Crusaders because they don't KNOW what their special talents are, yet-so they feel superior.

 

Which would make sense, because I still see those kinds of characters in shows a lot.
