music Good bands that use electric violins

Bands like Nightwish make up the Symphonic Metal genre, where you'll most likely find your electric violin bands. I'm not too into symphonic metal but I can direct you towards Turisas, who I love, and who I notice also use electric violins :)

Ah I remember listening to some Turisas a few years ago. I didn't know they used electric violins? Must just have been the songs I listened to. Thanks!

James Iha doesn't play the electric violin (that I know of), but he used an e-bow for a lot of the Smashing Pumpkins mid-career albums like Adore and Machina:
