My best friend came out as a transgender (male to female) only 6 months ago, and is much more confident and happy with herself as a person for doing so. I wish you good luck with your decision!

It's not like it was instant snap decision, I've been thinking about it for a while. I just didn't want to tell you guys until I was sure I was or was not going through with it. I suppose it's because I'm feminine and feel like I'd be happier if I was of the female gender.
