Okay, so apparently it's now canon that Shining Armor was a nerd in high school according to one of those MLP comics. Well, newsflash, that doesn't make any sense!!! When I was in high school a few years back, a lot of the nerds I interacted with were complete assholes, no offense. So lately I've been fairly productive (as some of you may know) and one of those things that recently popped up was an idea for an OC that came to mind. This OC is named Anaphora.
Currently this character is Marcato's (My ponysona) older sister. While Marcato's skill lies in music and the like, Anaphora's skill lies in writing, vocabulary and creating stories. She's also a bit of a closet dweller, in that she rarely leaves her home. Only when she feels it necessary.
I want to know who here has seen Equestria Girls because i have just seen it for the first time today and i loved it so much. The biggest hindrance to worldbuilding in the setting of MLP:FiM is, in my opinion, the passage of time. Or lack thereof. I was going to do this as one big post, but it hit 10,000 characters and I figured that's too ridiculous. So I've split it in two.
There’s at least three different points where the passage of time is important to the setting while having strange issues that conflict with themselves. Let’s tackle the two smaller issues first to get them out of the way.

Okai Hi.
Today I went to the pool with 3 of my cousins.
I was having a splash fight with two of them in the kiddy pool. I filled a bucket with water and threw the water at one of my cousins. He moved out of the way and I splashed this huge man.
He was like: "UHHH EXCUSE ME?!" and I appologized like the nice person I am.
He was wearing a Red shirt and Green pants (Christmas colors) so now I will forever call him The Santa who had Anger Issues.
