I dreamed last night that I was touring Rome with my uncle. As we were about to enter this temple, these two guys from the mafia dressed in black suits pointed guns at us, telling us to get down on the ground and give them all of our money. I kneeled down on the ground, but I didn't have my wallet on me, so I was just about to reach into my pockets to show I didn't have anything. However, just then, my uncle tried to fight the other mobster with his own gun. He took a bullet to the leg while he

Hey. Y'know what really grinds my gears? When cartoons characters cry projectile tears. ...Huh, didn't really mean to make a rhyme there.
I hate it when cartoon characters are crying and they shoot out massive arcing waterfalls that flood the room and then the other characters go by in a rowboat with raincoats and umbrellas. Now, I'm not at all averse to a slapstick show if that's show's entire foundation such as Rocko's Modern Life, but I'm talking about when they do it in show that
When I think of My Little Pony, I don’t think of alicorns, I don’t think of magic, magicians, redesigned changelings, manipulating ponies or swapping cutie marks. That might sound strange to some of you, but what I do think are vulnerable ponies who are determined to learn about friendship, appreciate what they have learned and face dangerous conflicts. That to me is My Little Pony. Maybe it’s because I love the Mane 6 and the 2017 movie, but the franchise at its core is about well written chara

FEEEEEYEEYEEYEED MY EYYYYYES! Uh, I mean Woohoo here once again continuing my ongoing project of rewatching and reviewing Hey Arnold. It's been a while since I've posted an entry on the show, and I bet a lot of you are wondering, "When are you going to review the movies?" To answer that question: yes, I am going to review the movies, but it could be a while since I plan on rewatching both movies a few more times to get a firm grasp. (Especially the first movie since it's so forgettable.)

After finishing Littlest Pet Shop, I immediately dove right into LPS: A World of Our Own.
(Relatively) spoiler-free. Basic premise discussion only. No specific story stuff.
AWOOO is just a short spin-off. It's not a full show. Just one season, and the episodes are half-length. 11-ish minutes a pop. But there's 52 episodes in the season, so it works out to the length or one normal season. However, it's not really feasible to do any complex stories with such little bite-sized time
Since the forums in general seems to be obsessed with the idea of living in Equestria, I decided to throw my opinion in. For me, unless if I had the ability to travel back and forth whenever I want, I wouldn't go. This is mostly because of what my skills and hobbies are.
So I teach programming as an occupation. In addition, most of my skills are related to high tech. For example, web design, computer repair, and photo editing. However, such technology does not exist in Equestria. Plus, it s

The more time passes by, people get nostalgic about the past, about their childhood. Many PC gamers of the late 90s and early 2000 get very nostalgic when they see the CRT shaders applied to their favorite PC emulators. Many remember, but do they remember correctly?
(This applies to old consoles as well, such as Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis). A TV or computer monitor were made of a bulky heavy thing called a CRT. The thing that people remember the most are the scanlines, and that som

This'll be a quick one for a change. Y'know what really grinds my gears? When characters on tv, especially cartoons, are cutting onions. Yes, it makes your eyes water, ok, but cutting onions doesn't make you SAD. It doesn't make blubber and sob and go "WHAAAAAA HAAAA HAAAA HAAAAAAA!" It doesn't make you bawl like Rainbow Dash when Tank died.
... or... hibernated... or whatever.

I saw a My Little Pony gameplay video on Odysee and briefly checked it out, and a couple seconds in I was confronted with some dark life art in the form of cynical truthtelling of current reality:
I do love those little town-building games, especially when they're lower key on the whole forcing you to use special, rare currencies to goad you into online purchases. My Little Pony does have one, and it helps me get creative, thinking of it like a special Alternate Universe timeline to Equestria, one where I meddle, hehe!
Twilight, having both demanded my presence and sat me down at a desk in her library, sternly addressing me:
"...So. Because you, as you claim, 'got here late' yo

TL;DR: Littlest Pet Shop is a good show. If you like MLP (and if you're reading this, then you obviously do), then you'll like LPS. If you're interested, go watch it before reading this blog.
This is going to be a spoiler-ridden discussion of Littlest Pet Shop. I gave LPS a shot because the animation and art style is extremely similar to FIM, and about half of the staff from FIM worked on LPS. I wasn't disappointed. It's quite good. It's no Pony, for sure, but good. I recommen

Wow. 100 friggin' episodes. Never thought I'd get this far. There sure is a lotta sh*t that annoys me!
Well, this momentous occasion deserves something special, so here's something that really, really, REALLY grinds my gears: constantly changing modern games.
This is probably going to be a polarizing, controversial issue. Pffft. Oh well. This is just my opinion and perspective. I f*cking hate how all games today are constantly updated and changed. I miss the days of finishe
