  1. Here's my 2 year old little girl and her Dashy t-shirt. She's pony-crazy because that's how I've brought her up Quality parenting.
  2. Have you guys ever thought about the evolution of MLP and how the characters have changed over the years? Let's take a look: The original My Little Pony, chubby and adorable: Then they got thinner, with an open mouth, more provocative stances, and more responsive positions: And skinnier still: What gives?

Thing is, FIM is genuinely funny. There's parts that have my crying with laughter. Like at the wedding where pinkie begs the shadow creature to immitate her. Even my husband was laughing at that (and he's much older than us!) But when I asked him if he would wear a Brony t-shirt he said, "erm...no".
  4. I find it refreshing, and dare I say - feminist - to have a kids show where all the lead characters, and most of the cast, are female.
  5. Thanks everyone for your answers. It's great to read a whole range of opinions. This has become a really interesting thread. Bronies unite!
  6. This is from urban dictionary: "According to BronyStudy, the age of bronies ranges from 14 to 57, with the average age being 21 years old. The fandom is predominantly male, with approximately 86% of bronies being male." More interesting brony stats: "According to BronyStudy, approximately 84% of bronies described themselves as heterosexual, 1.7% described themselves as homosexual, 10.3% described themselves as bisexual and 3.8% as asexual. This is about an average distribution of sexual orientation."
  7. Ahhhh so does brony mean 'dedicated' as opposed to 'casual'? So bronies collect merch and watch FIM religiously whereas a regular MLP fan isn't so dedicated. I thought bronyhood was about age.
  8. When does a regular MLP fan become a brony? I always thought bronies were 18 years + but I've seen folks on here as young as 13 call themselves a brony
  9. It's made me relate to my daughter (2 years old) better because we both get uber excited when new merch comes out lol. And we watch FIM together This bond will grow and grow as she gets older.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I hope I'm not the only old pony on the forums Where are all the bronies? Is there a thread for old folks? xx
  11. Twilight. I'm a studious bookworm Love reading and I'm very thoughtful. Although there's a touch of excentric pinkie going on also

Thank you! Love the rainbow dash avatar! Very kawaii! I see you have a 'royal guard' badge. What does that mean?
  13. Wowsa!! I'm loving those! Do you have the rarity and rainbow dash versions too?
  14. I'm now re-living the pony magic with my little girl (2 years old). Well, it gives me an awesome excuse to watch FIM over and over and collect all the merch I've got quite an impressive pony collection going on. I'll post pics soon. Hi everypony!
