    I will be having a surgery performed in less than two weeks. A little nervous about it, truthfully.

      Perhaps. I wasn't diagnosed as having any kind of tonsil issues until recently, because the medical care I've received for the past ten or so years has been...well, frankly, it was absolutely shit. The new doctor I started seeing spotted the problem right away, and a quick visit with an otolaryngologist confirmed the need for their removal. It's something that should have happened a long time ago, but at least it's going to happen now.
