I'm not a huge fan of his videos, but I hope he can get this sorted out, if only because the idea that no one can even fart in Viacom's general direction without it spazzing out and going mad with C&D Fever irks me.

Moffat may be the better writer and the themes and ideas he's working with are interesting, but RTD's the far better showrunner and story editor and I consistently enjoy the tone he sets for the series better. When his episodes were bad, they were just dumb, whereas Moffat's bad episodes can be both dumb and frustrating.

These are superb and should be framed and hung in a museum. I especially like the piece where Peter Dinklage realizes his blindness, and the one where Sweetie Belle tearfully calls out for Kaneda.

I was disappointed that this book didn't have an adventure story or anything. Like, Ursula or that Mecha-Whale from James and the Giant Peach show up or something.

Maguire. Like I said, his Spidey is in the best superhero movie ever, while Garfield's Spidey is a douche.

Oh, she's absolutely great to watch in that mode. I'm talking about how, in some scripts, she relates everything going on around her to fashion and it feels forced, like how Dash calls everything awesome all the time when the writers can't figure out what to make her said.

 

Not that I have a problem with Rarity talking about fashion if it seems like effort was put into her dialogue, like in the last episode where she's talking about real fashion terms and it has something to do with the scene at hand and it's funny.

Now im confused... do you think it's a problem that people thought you would be serious, or is it a problem that you think that Rarity talks too much about fashion?

I'm the problem, me thinks. I've been way too critical of the show as of late (though I do think it's a sign of a weaker episode when all Rarity talks about is fashion-related things).

 

I've gotta be honest, I thought this may have been serious for a second. Perhaps it was my own disappointment in the inconsistent quality of her S4 writing talking.

Anyhow, yeah, Best Pony's best is either "Suited for Success" or "Sisterhooves Social". Both are easily in the top 10.

Besides, everyone knows the all time best Rarity episode is still the original classic.

I seriously considered icepick-aided memory alteration after watching that episode. Those damn helium'd up Norwegian things...

Back when that one was released, they put out "behind the scenes footage" which were designed to fool kids into thinking they were real, working hover boards Mattel was working on. That's just cruel.

Pretty good ranking. I have to watch Twilight Time again to see if it's better than I remember.

 

Breezies has replaced "Super Squeezy Whatever" as my all time worst episode, so I guess I would have placed that at the bottom.
