The Smooze and its song is awesome. Everything else is just dumb, but at least it's harmless.

I am wondering what the buck Danny DeVito was doing in there.

1. Firefly is totally cool with Megan keeping a pony as a slave.

2. It's really weird how dark this thing gets out of nowhere. The producers said they wanted to be like an older Disney movie, but still, it feels really rushed and not properly built up.

3. Dat song. I don't even need to say which one. Just...dat song.

I think the narcissism of the chorus is suppose to be ironic. I'm no Gaga defender or anything, but I think the callbacks to her earlier songs and videos is suppose to imply that the song is from the POV of somebody who's life and career is based on getting people's attention and admiration. And when somebody criticizes her for falling back on her old stuff ("I've overheard your theory, nostalgia is for geeks"), her reply is that there's nothing wrong with her attitude or her redundancy ("I guess Sir, if you say so, some of us just like to read", which means if being a "geek" for nostalgia is wrong, she doesn't want to be right).

It isn't going to be accurate, and it doesn't need to be.If they were to make it 100% accurate then they most certainly wouldn't have a quality movie for all ages to watch and enjoy.  

 

Just look at Mulan.

Yeah, but the major key difference between the execution of the movies is that Mulan is good while Pocahontas is kinda mediocre.
