I keep thinking back on who the most awesome villain was in the series and I have to agree. I really miss Enel a lot and I sincerely hope to see him again. Idk if you read the manga but there have been random hints here and there suggesting he might make another appearance. Then again, most villains have so far.

And yeah, Goro Goro no Mi is best devil fruit. I've yet to see another devil fruit with the same destructive power. I suspect the Mera Mera and the Yami Yami no Mi would be just as badass but Ace and Blackbeard haven't used them to their full potential. Then there's Kuzan and Sakazuki. God help anyone who has to fight them.

Let me know how that trilogy plays out. I kept trying to get into it but I just was never a fan of the author's writing style. I should go back considering it is one of the most important trilogies of the franchise XD

Anime adaptations tend to have a lot more fanservice in them, and Jean happens to be a fan favorite for some reason, which would explain why he gets a lot more screen time. And yeah, that doesn't make sense. Eren was in full control by the time the female titan was discovered. One thing I am absolutely excited for.....well, two rather, is the introduction of APE TITAN and Eren vs Reiner. I'll pick up the anime again just for those :33

Boss battles were some of the best things about SAO, nvm that they were some of the best anime has to offer <3 I actually hope they'll make another season. The books after the Alfheim arc are way better in quality.

I think they're, so far, the best thing about SAO. I wonder if the book is as 'harem'-y. (Not that I mind harems, I was just expecting something different.) Ah! I forgot that mangas accompany most anime! But I suppose I never really thought about there being a SAO manga.

The anime's pretty much 100% loyal to the light novels (this anime is based on that rather than the manga tho that's also a thing), tho you don't actually get as much of a harem feel in the books' main storyline. Some of the episodes where Kirito is interacting with other characters like Lisbeth take place in side stories from separate books that I haven't actually read. And yeah, Fairy Dance is pretty rage inducing. The main villain turns out to be half as bad as Joffrey...

Oh, not a meet-up; we were just visiting family friends. I could've made excuses about schoolwork and stayed here to go to the meet, but I hadn't seen them in ages and it'd have been rude.

But yeah, I know what you mean about that - even though these are the friendliest guys ever, meets are ever so spontaneous

Yeah, the post I made there was actually in terms of where to start chronologically, especially since the EU tales are told through so many mediums (books, comics, games, etc), tho I'm mainly interested in the events shortly after the OT albeit not so much post-Vong war in the end. Also some interest in the Old Republic stories.

Not a problem Some of the newer books have the chronology printed on the front pages, but some of those books are not so well written (the Coreillian trilogy...burr). When you get the chance to read TALES, lemme know. Love to see what you think
