Also, for what's about to happen next, I wonder how I should play it... I was actually expecting whatever was going to happen to just happen in your post, Ms. Snickers.

Heheh, ActFast and I seem to be the most active people around here. C'mon people, post, 'afore we turn this into a romance novel. We need to build relationships between the characters before Artix announces the big news. Also, made a quality post in a heinous amount of time. Enjoy.

@@ActFast231 The colour had risen to her ears now. Dear? Dear? She served herself an apple salad as her friend- her friend- suggested. She picked up a different plate, pushed aside the other one full of other things, and filled the second plate with the salad. She picked up a fork and ate the salad as slowly as she possibly could, keeping her eyesight focused on the fork. Just on the fork. Anything to prevent her from looking back up at the colt beside her it was so tempting, just turning her head and looking back up, back to his friendly, warm- She didn't feel hungry at all, the butterflies in her stomach could have been enough to feed a full-grown dragon. She felt dizzy. She served herself a glass of wine, and looked all around the room for anything to focus on, anything- but she had already gotten to examine the ponies in the carriage, and there was nothing in particular she could see about Mister Artix from so far away. Nopony was doing anything interesting. Almost nopony was talking to each other, even. With a sigh, she turned back to the only pony adjacent to her.

Honestly, I-" Maple felt her cheeks flush with colour as she said this,and turned her head to look at the food sitting in front of them, breaking eye contact. "So! Food! What do you like?" Before Max could answer, she loaded up her plate with anything that looked edible until there was no more space on the plate, and then started filling up Max's plate as well.

@ActFast231 (And perhaps @Ms. J. L. Snickers and @LeJAKoJAK) Maple glanced briefly at the hotel's caretaker as she trotted to the dining room table. He was over by one of the glass walls conversing with the "film-pony" about something. The film-pony seemed to have a stern look in his face about something, and Mr. Artix seemed to receive whatever the film-pony was grumbling about with ease. She couldn't think of a reason why this colt would be arguing with Mr. Artix already. They had been granted a free ride to his wonderful establishment, complete freedom around the place, and given all of this wonderful service for no cost at all! True, it did sound fishy, but it seemed like all of these ponies were a little well-known for something. Maybe he just really liked their work? Maple caught herself just before hitting the chair that Max was holding out for her. "Thank you." She took the seat, and then pulled the one beside her for Max, and made a motion for him to sit down beside her. She rested a hoof on the table and gave another side-long glance at the two grey ponies at the side of the room, before turning her gaze back to Max.

"Most colourful pony? "Ha! Good one,Ms. J. Snickers. Anyway, I'll get to writing a response right now.

We need some badassery in here. Draw Scoots rocking out on her scooter. And if you can think of RD doing anything, such as cheering her on, that would grant you some more art points as well.

Well, if so many people think he's jazzy, he may even turn into the Jazz pony, who knows? (Feedback! Pleaaaaaaaase!) [Guys. This is the Ska/Punk character. I only mentioned jazz here once and Ska/Punk about 42 times.] Alright, MLP Forums! I have embarked on a daring quest in the name of our glorious leader, @Feld0, to design a pony for each and every single genre in the Pony.fm website! Currently, there are about 36 genres, and I know there will be more, but I shall carry on through the- Okay, I can't keep this up anymore. The thing is, I'm designing mascots for the Pony.fm website. One for each genre. I know the website isn't complete, and it sure as hay does not have ALL of the musical genres listed, but I'm going to design an OC for each one. Here is the first one I have made, for Ska/Punk, one of my favorite genres: The cutie mark for the character is a trumpet, because horn instruments are the only things that separate Ska from Punk, and the trumpet is a commonly used instrument in Ska. I've talked to some friends about the OC, and some of them seem to think that he also has some jazzy elements to him, so I need YOU, that's right, YOU, random citizen to provide me with commentary, suggestions, any feedback! When Ray has time for it, and has finished a few more OC's for the website, he'll apply some changes to the Ska/Punk character. Your suggestion might affect the outcome of this OC, which will be a part of the Pony.fm website! Anyhow, I'm done being a used car salesman. But, seriously, please give me feedback. I'll love you forever.* *maybe a little more than that...

His gaze was rather intimidating, almost...mad. She shook the thought off. How ignorant of her. She had barely even met him. To be fair, the colt was also fairly handsome for his age, and... She couldn't really think of anything else, but that was also fair. She decided she was thinking in a completely stupid manner, and trotted. slowly, over to Mr. Artix. "Thank you for having us, sir!" She made a slight bow.

Bleh. Sorry for taking so long on a response like that. I wonder what Master Artix is going to do...

@ActFast231 Maple popped an eye open. "Where I am from?", she echoed, "I was born in Manehattan, but I've been pretty much everywhere, studying and the like...I'm not sure why you think I'm a high-class pony, though." Is it my looks? My saddle? Cutie Mark? Before Max could respond with anything else, she quickly brought the question back to him. "And you?"

I did not quite see you going for that. Of course, we need to get introductions out of the way. Speaking of which, should we wait for the other RPers to post as well? I guess we could continue conversing while they "get out of the carriage." But we should probably give them some time. Anyway, I'm writing the response.

As she walked toward the seats,Maple took a closer look at the interior of the building, moving her head back and forth, even straining her neck to look up and was taken aback by the pure...detail. There was not a single corner that was not intricately designed, not a single piece of furniture that was not masterfully created and decorated...even the floor seemed to be no exception! There were many decorative pieces of furniture in the room, and the floor surrounding them was a piece of artwork in and of itself. This place is almost dizzying!, she thought. Finally, bumping into the seats, broke out of her internal admiration for the place. I've gotta stop doing that. Taking a seat, (a rather large seat) Maple turned to face Max, who, she now noticed, was a little taller than she thought he was. "I knew this was a pretty important and nice place, but I'd never imagined this!", she laughed. She moved herself a little on the chair, trying to get even more comfortable than she already was. The chairs were so large...there was almost room for two ponies. She leaned back on her chair, and closed her eyes, a smile on her face. She had barely gotten here, and she was already enjoying herself. Yes, surely, these next few days with her newfound friend and four other ponies she'd yet to know, would surely be a time to remember!

@ActFast231 Yes, I'm talking about how you're doing conversations. You say just enough to contribute a fair amount to it, while still talking about your character, while still making it sound like a conversation. @LeJAKoJAK Looks like you've been ninja'd. @ActFast231 AND you're doing all of this extremely fast and flawlessly. I applaud you, but I also want to know how to do it myself.
