I'll be the voice of reason. There is no doubt Halo 4 is a good game. The graphics on it are better than and other current game and the engine is either competing if not better than the Unreal Engine. People don't like Halo 4 because it can't compete with the leap that Halo 2 and Halo 3 were. Halo was way ahead of it's time and now it's falling behind. And at least Halo isn't like Call of Duty where it churns out the same game every 10 months. Bungie and 343 were constantly changing there game and trying to create new things. However 343 choked and instead of exploring new areas like they said they would they made the game to how they thought it would be good. They didn't create ideas, they stole them. CoD was doing great so they jumped on that bandwagon and make it similar to CoD so people playing CoD games would jump ship and buy Halo. The story was okay, but bad compared to the original trilogy. The multiplayer is god awful, they put so many elements into it and made it to were the skill gap is like the distance between your toes. In previous Halos it mattered if you could out-shoot your opponent, out-smart him, time which power weapon your team should get and set up around, which equipment to run with, and map movement and spawning. You had to work for your rank, not just play a lot. Now, everyone has the same aim, you have to take into consideration what weapon they will spawn with because it will always beat the one you use DMR>BR (I like the new BR update but haven't got to play much, regardless you will still get shot all the way across the map with the LR and DMR and die within a second) irrelevant ranking, spawning WITH equipment and the BOLTSHOT, terrible maps with a bad spawn system implemented, always sprint and the notorious abilities to see through walls, static weapons, and grenade/shot indication. I don't know what to think of stopping power. As above, Halo 4 is a good game, it's just not what it used to be and people don't like it for that reason. Me? I hate it even though I play it professionally. I might even retire and just jump ship to Destiny.

Well I got back from the AGL event. Our fourth player didn't show up so we had to find a random guy or we would've got disqualified. The guy was pretty bad and pulled the team down sadly. We played six games and only won one. It was really disappointing. I feel we could have done better but three of us didn't have headsets. I also met another Brony there that was competing. Didn't talk to him much.

I for one really don't care either way, I do however hate one show with a lot of fury, enough to become a god of a small African village and sustain the population off of only my rage. That would be Dragon Ball Z, you'll never catch me talking about it though. Except now of course.

The story was so good.. I might... Is this just a story or did it really happen? Ya know, like Transformers?

I'm going to a game tournament for Halo 4 in a couple days and was interested if anyone lives nearby the area, it's at Battlefield Knoxville 9329 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37922. This is my first AGL event and I haven't been to another event in a long time. I'd love to meat people nearby while I'm there. If you plan on coming and watching everyone play it's 10$ for an entry fee but I might pay it myself. It starts June 7th and ends two days later. I'm a little scared of going since I'm not as good as I used to be at Halo. I want to get past Pool Play at least but I want to aim for top16. Pertaining to games of this generation I have a love-hate relationship. To me an ideal game would be a mental challenge. One where you have to devise a strategy quickly, and execute it before it is to late. There are some games like it, for example Halo, or Bioshock from what I am reading. But not quite, and I don't mean a game like LoL, WoW, or kotor. I hate those types of games in my opinion. Shooters are being churned out like it's a fad or something and they don't leave me with a good experience. Games with difficulty are meaningless to me, because all it does is alter damage, enemy placement, amount, and health. It doesn't change the game much at all except put you at a disadvantage to make the game "harder" By know people would think of "Dark Souls" or "Dragon Age: Origins" but not those games either. There has never been a game to challenging for me but I remember a long time ago, I played my first Final Fantasy game (don't remember anything else). I was breezing through it easily and I got stuck at a part where I was in a 1v3 and couldn't beat the guy. I remember his name which is ironically funny seeing as how I don't remember anything else. It was Anima and that guy was a real struggle to beat. I ended up not playing the game for a month and when I got back on it I annihilated the guy.

Ah I already love this thread. As a quick background check I've been through a lot of messed up things that others would give up on so my willpower and emotions are like a steel wall now. I've played many games including the ones mentioned here. To The Moon was mediocre and a bad game to me. The Walking Dead was meh, couldn't get attached to it. However, there was one game that made me cry, literally. And it is one of the most unexpected games you'll ever think of. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky: Grovyle's and Dusknoir's story That stuff was deep yo' in fact, all of the PMMD were emotional for me, twas a great game series I wish they would continue.

I've never played a game that was "scary" to me, I remember Slender was the closest thing to getting me 'scared' and it was more just jumpscare rather than fear. I'll try this LSD: Dream Emulater, I can't fathom why people could fear a game. Oh yeah, memories, I remember playing the first Dead Space at night with every light out, I didn't get creeped out until I went to the kitchen to grab a snack in the pitch black.
