The best distraction that had come up with while he was bucking apples and pulling up weeds was to sing to himself--simple melodies that helped break up the monotony of the labor. His parents purchased instruments for all three of their children, Sunrise receiving a violin from the instrument forger Silver Hoof from Canterlot. He practiced as best he could, but it was apparent that he would not be able to realize his dreams of being a musician on the farm. After Candy Wing's disappearance and supposed death, and the reception of his Cutie Mark, Sunny decided it was time to take flight and follow his dreams. He left the family farm, and flew to Ponyville, to take roots and continue his studies of music. On the way there, he encountered a few adventures: "It was a rainy evening in some town between Fillydelphia and Maresburgh. She had the prettiest eyes...they cut through the dark of the restaurant like a beacon from a lighthouse. I don't remember her name...but we spent the entire evening talking. Army/Marine defintions: Lance Corporal Okay...I'm confused, even though I just read the whole thread--I'd like to know who is playing what character and just a general snapshot of what's going on so I know where to interject myself, even though it'll likely be a megabig "Whoa--that's a lot of words" intro post as I consult with Fluttershy whom I would believe to be some high ranking official within the air support services, being the only pegasi captured from the Mane 6. I'm going to throw a couple of monkey wrenches into everypony's thinking here, so bear with me a minute or two. First, I don't seen anywhere enough moving by the now split Elements of Harmony--which makes a little bit of sense, as once the elements were separated, their efficacy would be minimal--as we saw in Return of Harmony, without all six, they're basically useless. Princesses Luna and Celestia had good reason for capturing/retaining the element bearers they did. It would be nice to see somepony on either one of the respective sides play at least one individual element holder every so often--would give us a good look into what's going on with how they are reacting to the war, and the fact that friends that they had thought they had made were no longer, and they were both physically and emotionally separated. Second--look, I understand it's a war, but the level of outright hate I'm seeing from species to species borders on almost ludicrous. We all existed under Celestia's sun until Luna's return--how long has this dislike been fostering to make itself so rampant so quickly? Maybe I just need to flush out my headgear and get a new perspective on how much of an influence is being generated by both sides' leaders, although we both know that Luna is fresher and more able to have a greater pull on her followers than is Celestia after her millenia of dual work and next to no sleep. Thirdly...I'm a bit of a forum newbie (not noob...making the distinction right now) and some of the jargon has me a little baffled, especially the term "ninja'd". I would try and discern its meaning, but I'd just as soon hear it from the mouth of somepony who knows. Okay! Mini-rant over. Sunny will be ready to jump into the fray as soon as I get some of my homework done. College isn't easy, but it's necessary.

Working on becoming non blank-flank, and realized I don't have a good image for Sunny's flank! Eep! This must not be. We must change this! For a description, just go ahead and check my profile, but if you want to save the link click, here it goes: Sunrise's cutie mark is a quarter-note that has had the middle hollowed out to show a sun rising from the bottom of the oval of the note. It can either be a quarter or a half-note, but it's important that there's the sun rising in the background.

Sunrise Song sighs slightly... It's the internet...and apparently, no matter how hard we try and keep people on the straight and narrow, they just don't seem to get it. I do hope that by the time 10 Feb happens, I'm no longer a blank flank and can participate therein--as that's one of the things I've desired to do throughout the fandom--realtime interaction with others, helping out and having fun! I live pretty far away from major cities, and this is basically the only outlet I have. Hopefully the offenders will be dealt with, the mods and admin will try and come up with something else that works, and we can all get back to happy fun Pony time.

I've been told that my eyes remind ponies of a crystal clear sky right after sunrise, such a shining blue that it's almost hard to fully comprehend. During four months out of the year, he travels all of Equestria, from Canterlot to Fillydelphia and back, sharing his talents of the violin to all he encounters. On his path, he picks up stories from ponies in farther lands, and gains an experience that helps him be a better friend to the friends he has in Ponyville. He has not yet re-encountered Light Beacon, but hopes one day he shall as he tours the lands yet again, sharing his music, his life and his heart with all he meets on the way back home. His favorite song is one from a group outside of Manehattan, one he keeps in his mind as a way to recall why he travels and shares his life with others so freely. "Turn up the music! Turn it up loud. I've lived in both Minnesota and Pennsylvania, having now resided in Pennsylvania for five years. I enjoy listening to music, singing, writing, playing billiards (when I have the time), and spending time with my children.
