Just wanted to mention that, I asked my mom today this question, and she did tell me that the Bible does actually speak on this subject (though I don't know which book specifically, though more than likely it's in the New Testament). What she told me confirmed most of what I said, but she just clarified that, according to Christians, we believe that...

...while family will remain family when reunited in heaven, and although we'll be reunited with spouses in heaven, they will no longer be spouses even if they remain loved ones, i.e., there won't be husbands and wives in heaven, even though we'll be reunited with them. Hope that's not confusing and makes sense, and helps further answer your question.
