  1. “We make men without chests and expect from them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst.” -C.S. Lewis If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God, who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly, and it will be given you. But ask in faith, never doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. (James 1:5-6)
  2. How I see it Producers and Record companies has found an optimized system and style to sell the most amount of music and attract the mass audience. Its not that I find the music bad, it just doesn't speak to my worldview and I'm tired of the constantly repeated forms that are used.
  3. It would be interesting to see the Formula change, there hasn't been a formula change since A Link to the Past (not counter Four Swords Adventures because its formula has yet to alter the series systematically). I would press Nintendo do base its formulas off or some of its more original games in the series. Four Swords Adventures: This would press the series into a more loot based Adventure Game. The original game placed each level into a self contained adventure. Players would be able to "loot" treasure and money to get the best score at the end of the level. Players could only hold a limited amount of items (1 weapon in 4SA) making them be greedy or generous in their fight to beat the level. This more for a multiplayer Zelda. 4SA is still an amazing game in its own right. This would make the Zelda Series more resemble the Borderlands Series. Zelda II: The would make the Zelda Series a RPG once more. The question is how much would that alienate the audiences of the Zelda Series. Nintendo makes these games for first timers and fan with the intent to make more fans. This would make the series more like a watered down Elder Scrolls game.I don't like this idea. Zelda I: You're on your own. I'm not so sure if any of these formulas would work for the series as a whole.
  4. I don't see it a problem for someone to play as the opposite sex because gender is such a grey area. Gender roles and identity can vary significantly between person to person. The reason to play as the opposite sex character can range from identifying with that gender more or just simply lulz.
  5. Ever heard of a game called Rayman Origins, I keep telling people to play this game. They don't listen, they keeping making excuses like "I'm not a Rayman Fan" and "That doesn't sound like something I would like". I respond "your a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Mario Bros fan, this is something you would like" or "Neither am I, but this game is awesome". The game is amazing and should really get more attention. People still don't want to buy it, it sickens me; they keep buying their re-releases of good, but not great games. I also like the xbox Naruto games, but they aren't as good as Rayman Origins.
  6. That is a really tough question because the instruments of a rock band work together to make the sound... well sound good. I've been really liking drums and bass, they are instruments that can be played simplistically to get their job done, but when put into the right hands they become quite magical. On the other hand our ears have been so desensitized by virtuoso guitar and vocals that we don't respond to it anymore.
  7. How about Chasity. Here is the name definition. Chasity \ch(a)-si-ty\ as a girl's name is pronounced CHASS-i-tee. It is of Latin origin, and the meaning of Chasity is "pure". Simplified form of Chastity, or a blend of that name with Charity. Chasity has 10 variant forms: Chasadie, Chasady, Chasidy, Chasiti, Chassedi, Chassey, Chassidy, Chassie, Chassity and Chassy.
  8. I've been working on a video series that uses music from "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" and its respective fandom create a tutorial/tutoring series to teach music theory. I've finished writing the first episode, and I will recording it soon. Sadly because its covers only the basics, it won't have any pony music in it. I wanted to ask for opinions and help in this matter. I want to have it in a visual format similar to what Digibrony and the other analyzing Bronies do, this is with a semi animated oc talking to the audience with a visualization on the other side of the screen. But is this really a good format? Considering the visualization is much more important with these videos I'm just not sure. I also can't draw very well, so I would need help making the character mug. What do you guys think? Do you like the idea of this series, and do you think having the oc in the foreground to be a good idea?
  9. If I do get casted that would be a close call if life permits. (Dang jury duty!) for extra characters to post I will tell you I use a mxl 990 with an audio interface for recording.
  10. I'm interested in this project. Its been sometime since I've done any voice acting. Sadly I won't be near my best recording equipment for two weeks. I can audition with some sub-par equipment (dynamic microphone without a pop filter or boom), but it will be messy. How long will you be holding auditions? ]
