@Moonbacon I have read quite a few clopfics that weren't self inserts, but I won't deny there are quite a few of them that are especially human on pony stories. I think it is simple, a lot of people like the characters and the universe and want to escape to it and of course a little is understandable so long as it not taken to an unhealthy level.

Every IT guy loathes printers and fax machines. Two technologies we would love to see die.

Mine is really fucking old, so it came with a fax doohickey. Doesn't work, though. And now the printer doesn't work either. So all it's really good for is scanning doodles.
