Fair. One of my views on the fandom ever since I remember was that parts of it can lose themselves in the show. It's surreal, happy and carefree. Traits that are dangerous for people who want to escape reality.
Now, I do not wish to generalise, but well. It's no secret that there are people who dived in too deep. And that's awful. Conventions are wonderful, as you get to meet with people. I also had a chance to meet someone from US who visited brony friends in our country, and I accidentally got to meet a pretty skilled young DJ back in the day thanks to them.
But what if any hobby becomes your obsession? And to add, what if social norms condemn it, so you feel you have to hide it? When in public, what do you speak about when all you've known lately is that guilty little pleasure of yours and you're too scared to come out or nobody wants to listen?
I have a ton of flaws. I am in many moments a hypocrite, I often feel. But I'm really trying to make people realize that humans are, by nature, social creatures. We need social interactions, we need meeting others. It's in out instincts. Just because someone had bad luck to people, doesn't mean they suddenly don't need others. They don't WANT TO meet others, but they still need them. And while the show, games, other shows, etc are a great distraction, they are massively detrimental to our health if there is no human to human interaction between people somewhere along the line of enjoying it. As we simply push ourselves away from physical contact with others, and replace it by virtual one which is by NO means an acceptable substitute.
Pretty much what the video says in my eyes and which fears it evokes in me.
So yeah, I can't complain. People should think for themselves, and if they need a push for it, let such videos exist.

I love how people who took the split second to think about what was presented came to the same conclusion and thoughts you just laid out.
And then there are others who just come to 'Oh that was sad, why'd they leave the fandom?" ^^;When it's clearly shown at the end that they haven't left, merely overcome that blind obsession that makes them lost to begin with.
