I'm sure even with good hygiene, it can still do just so. Not everything can be solved with a toothbrush. lol

@ Miles - You can't reverse it unfortunately, but most of the damage is caused by bits of it getting stuck inbetween your teeth/gums/etc. and left there... So if you chew a thicker cut (ie a pouch instead of a can) and make sure to clean your teeth of all loose particals; you can really minimize your risk... At least thats what my wife told me when I first learned she chewed and freaked... She's smart and honest though, so I take I think it's safe to believe

Well, the pouches, which I chew, are literally inside a pouch, so nothing is loose, and nothing get's stuck in my teeth. But, yah, I can see how it can minimize the risks if you brush well.
