Nocte

Hi every pony! I wish to present a rough draft of a short horror story type thing that i wrote spur of the moment after having a recurring dream, the person in the story is a person from the dream that I was having. Feedback is allways welcomed, positive or negative, and also please ignore the words in parenthesis they are notes to myself so I know what to change later. "I don't know how much longer I have. All I know is that I am being followed and that my death my be close. Wherever I go I see the same figure staring at me, with his hollow, lifeless eyes, and that twisted smile. He is even in my dreams, it's like no matter where I go I can not escape him. It started one night, I went out into my kitchen to get a drink before bed. I glanced in the reflection of the polished stainless steel fridge and through the window of the back door I saw him. Full of panic I turned around to get a better look. He was standing outside the door starring in. He was a tall, thin figure with short black hair, starring in with black eyes. The most unnerving part of him though was his smile. He had a devious, crooked smile. It reminded me of serial killers that had no remorse for anything they have done. Confused I rubbed my eyes thinking it was my mind playing tricks on me, but when I looked again he was gone. Hesitantly I walked to the door and turned on the outside light a glimpsed out the window. After looking around I was convinced it was my mind playing tricks on me and went back to my room and went to bed. The next day I went to the office building where I work. It went fine like any normal day. I got up from my desk to walk out the door and go home and I saw him again. He was down at the end of a long hallway, standing near a window staring back at me with his dead eyes and that grin. Hurridly I went to the elevator trying not to attract any attention and headed down to the lobby, got in my car and left without a second thought. (maybe? If I keep this I need to revise it) Later that day I went to the market to get food. And there he was again, this time in the crowd. Standing still in the center of it just staring at me again, with his crooked smile. Uncomfortable I left my cart and left immediately. (majorly needs revised cause I suck at endings ) Now here I sit, at my desk type what could be my final story if my predictions come true. There is a banging at my door, if these are my final few moments I have already accepted my fate a long time ago. As my door breaks in I hear slow and stead footprints coming down my hallway toward my den. With a steady hand I type what could be my last words. The door to my den opens and I hear deep breathing coming from behind me. The footsteps approach the back of my chair. I feel my head get lifted up from a hand and thmuyjh"
