  1. @Torrent505, does the maximum number of characters entered rule still apply? If not, is it possible that I can have all four siblings in the roleplay?
  2. Candela looked up at the moon. The stars seemed brighter then ever. The little dots of light looked so... cheerful. As if they had not a care in the world. Even things like the darkest of nights helped you see the stars. "Lights are brighter when everything else is dark." And the stars nodded their consent, and the moon smiled down at her. --------------------------------- Alice rose from the debris like a kraken rising from the ocean. "Oh, my!" The remnants of dwellings were reduced to a pile of charred rubble before her. What poor souls could have been trapped in the rubble? Alice sat down, deep in thought. She only remembered pieces of what happened before. "Miss Alice, what's happening?" "Do not worry, Butterscotch. We will get you to your mother, then everything will be fine." "Are you sure?" "I promise. Now hurry!" "Butterscotch, my son! Thank you for bringing him to me, Alice! Alice? Alice!" Now, now they were gone. Butterscotch had been the liveliest colt she had ever met and his mother was a wonderful mare. She looked into the rose quartz Candela, River Side and Daisy gave her when they were foals. "For being the bestest big sister ever!" "Not bestest, best, Candela. And thank you all so much!" She hugged the quartz and cried. "Candela, River Side, Daisy. Please be alright. Alice is coming. Big sister is coming home." She looked up at the stars. "Please. Take care of my little siblings. Please." Holding the gem close to her heart, she cried. She cried bitter tears, and all the while looked out at the serene, peaceful ocean, and once again at the stars. One was particularly bright. It filled her with hope. Maybe, she thought, her family was looking at the very same star, a world away.
  3. http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/alice-r6073 The page for Alice, Candela's older sister!
  4. Candela slumped to the ground and held her face in her hooves."But it is not just River Side! Alice and Daisy, Mother and Father... I will never return home again! To my family, my library, my memories!" It was not like Candela to be so pessimistic. But feelings defeated her upstart and cheerful character. "And after all of this is fixed, how will Equestria ever be normal again? How will we ever be able to return to our old lives?" Candela indicated Winter Willow and Melody. "At least you have your daughters, Princess Luna. I have nopony left."
  5. Candela stopped. Why? Why did this have to happen? What went wrong? "Yes. Yes, I- I will walk with you." She returned to Princess Luna's side, hanging her head. Inside, her heart ached. It ached for her home. Her family. Equestria. "Oh, how I wish it could have been easier for us.'
  6. Candela looked down. "I- He- River Side was the best brother a younger sister could have. And to think that I might never see him again..." and for the first time in many years, she felt something. Something she had not felt ever since her siblings moved away. Something Candela wished she would never feel again. Loneliness. Pure, deep loneliness. Loneliness tends to strike at the worst possible time; a time when you cannot take anymore. Candela had managed to keep herself distracted ever since this apocalypse struck. Candela had hidden from a horrible truth; in her own little sanctuary. That sanctuary was crumbling. The black void of reality was crushing Candela from the inside. Princess Luna smashed Candela's shield into shards and rubbed salt in the wound. Candela wanted to scream. This reality... it was too much. A tear dropped from Candela's eye, followed by another. She turned, and with a great effort, a few words escaped her mouth: "I will just go and follow the other group." Her eyes, which were always a bright, optimistic green, lost their shine. Her life, full of happiness and meaning, lost its worth. Nothing could prepare her for the void she was forced into.
  7. Candela smiled slightly and looked down at the young filly. "Oh. I remember, you had daughters." She held out her hoof. "My name is Candela." She reached out and stroked Melody's mane, and turned back to Princess Luna. "You might know my mother and father, we live on an estate outside of C- Canterlot. And my older brother, Riv- River Side, is in the Royal Guard..." Her voice trailed off as memories of her family briefly flashed through her head. Candela avoided using past tense to mislead herself about this... cataclysm. To make it seem as if she could return home to her mother and father, and Alice, River Side, and Daisy. But she would never return home. Her family was gone. Forever.
  8. You would hear me with my flute, playing away or My Little Pony or you would see my little brother running around or complaining that he wants to watch Spongebob, then my sister would sigh and reluctantly watch it with him.
  9. Candela bowed. "I- I woke in Ponyville, and since then I have been- following your group. And these two fillies, they seem to be close to you. Very close. I- I was just curious, you do not have to answer." Candela lowered her gaze as she saw the black stallion that had scared her before. So much carried weapons. They seemed uncivilized. Her brother River Side denied the spear that was offered to him. He used magic, and even then only in defense. He never harmed a living creature without reason.
  10. I think it is perfectly normal. I sleep with a second pillow, works just as well!
  11. Are you in one? No, not at all. Do you want one? Once again, not at all. How do you feel around other couples? I feel happy for them! How many have you had? Absolutely none. <><><><><><><><><> You can say I am rather solitary when it comes to relationships. The closest I have ever gotten is with Starbound, and even then we are still just friends.
  12. Not at all, many aspects of the 2-dimensional styling will be lost, as Katana pointed out.
  13. I am not sure if Hasbro would be very accepting of how he looks.
  14. Some people just have trouble understanding others different from them. But do not let that affect you!
  15. "No- I am fine. I- I would like to speak with Princess Luna. If- if you could bring me to her, that is." Candela gathered herself and took a few steps forward, lowering her gaze. "My name is C- Candela. Nice to meet you, Grell." Candela stepped out of the water gingerly, abd stepped to Grell's side.
  16. A nice yellow skirt! Yesterday I was wearing a black skirt and a white shirt!
  17. Candela backed away deeper into the water, lowering her head. "Oh, I am so very sorry. I- I did not mean to interfere. I was just-" Candela could not bear to tell a lie, and her parents had ingrained it into her over the years. "I- I was just- watching." Candela backed away farther, her golden mane and tail were soiled.
  18. Yes, horse racing is wrong, very wrong. Many horses are just not meant to work that hard, and their hearts give out as a result of sheer weakness. Honestly, I have not heard of people killing the horses if they lose, but that might very well be true.
  19. I can understand why a pony could be afraid of us. We are much different. I would be kind to her and eventually she could become comfortable around me.
  20. Candela heard the snap of branches and shrieked; the sound seemed to have come from not far to the right of her. The noise rang out and struck the clearing, the group would have almost certainly heard the loud, high-pitched noise. Candela's horn shimmered and she teleported into shallow swamp water accidently, right behind the group. "Oh, no."
  21. No, my point is, that if you were a ruler, how would your subjects like it if you fell for a guard? 'Biggest load of bull' is not a very nice phrase.
  22. Candela hid. She hid like her life depended on it; it might as well have been. She saw Princess Luna and the strange dragon-pony talking, but they were both... strange. The dark one was looking into Princess Luna's eyes very closely, gazing into them, as if he was in quite a romantic mood. But that was impossible for such a serious and dark stallion, and Candela retreated further before she could observe more. Instead she watched the small group in the battlefield; the one with the scared little filly. She watched attentively. The branches and leaves of the bush were rather uncomfortable, and it was a vast effort to avoid sliding into the foul swamp water. A branch, seared by the explosion, fell to the ground behind her and Candela stifled a scream.
  23. Luna, as a princess, should not succumb to feelings like that. Interesting...
  24. (I am deeply, deeply sorry, but I seem to have forgotten that Candela is a unicorn and that I seemed to have hinted that she was flying in the last two posts. Please ignore that.) Candela shrieked and teleported away from this strange stallion, far away in another bush, where he couldn't find her. She didn't want to be found; her fear was much to great. (No, please let Candela stay hidden!)
