Croaks

Map Maker woke up later than everybody else. "Shit," he mumbled to himself as he got out of his top bunk and washed his face. "Get out, dumbfuck," he heard a guard say behind him. He turned around, seeing a guard standing in front of his cell. Maker wanted no trouble, so he did as the guard told him to. As soon as he got out of sight, he ran to the mess hall and grabbed a tray of food. He sat down at the pegasus table, making sure nobody was behind his back or sitting near him. He ate at a normal pace, making sure to finish before breakfast ended.

Maker followed the rest of the others to the courtyard for free time. As he always did, he did a few short exercises an then lifted weights. Afterwards he walked along the fence out of boredom, still look around and seeing if any prisoners were targeting him for some reason.

Maker finished eating, eyed his surroundings, and went to turn his tray back into the designated area. He sat back down at the table. Almost everypony was up to something. He spotted that new prisoner talking to someone else in the corner of the cafeteria, and the Pegasus Mob Boss talking to some unicorn, and apparently the only unicorn. Map Maker was suspicious, as always. He wanted no part in causing trouble. After all, he was completely innocent. Maybe he'd be released on good behavior? Nah, probably not.

Maker stood in line to get his tray of food. Once he had it, he made his way to the pegasus table, as always. He never talked to anyone. He say down an inspected his food, wondering if their was poison in it. He didn't know why there would be, but just in case. He started eating, eyeing the few other inmates a bit before doing so.

I like GTA, it's just that each storyline is basically the same. In GTA III, you're Claude, who has escaped prison and is living normal until he gets caught up in crime again. In GTA IV, you're Nico Bellic, who has come to America to escape his past and live the American dream, but get's caught up in crime again unwillingly. In GTA V, you're the guy from GTA Vice City, and you want to turn your life around. So you settle down, but then get caught up in crime again.

Maker woke up as the light blasted through everything. He rubbed his eyes, washed his face in the sink by the toilet, then made his way to the Mess Hall. He wasn't too picky; if it was edible and wouldn't kill him or be the same species, it was alright. He stood in line and waited to grab a tray of mashed up, brown, liquidy "food". He found a spot to sit down in and did just that. He ate slowly, looking at his surroundings when a fight started. Nothing too physical, just an argument. He watched them until guards herded all of the prisoners outside into the courtyard. Maker did what he always did. Maybe exercise a bit, then sit around, and afterwards just walk along the fence. He had no one to talk to; after all: he knew no one, and couldn't trust them well even if he did. Most ponies were talking, engaging in conversations, some threatening, some casual. He looked over at the pegasus called Sky. He was tricking some unicorn into joining his little mob. Map Maker was then taken to PI. Everybody did their own little pieces of labor. Some worked outside, others inside, things like laundry an such, which is what Maker got stuck doing. He hated doing laundry. All of the jumpsuits were torn up anyways, and they would never look good. Washing made it no different except for the smell.

Maker was escorted into the prison from the courtyard along with every other prisoner. It was time for sleep. One of Map Maker's favorite times. He walked into his cell, climbed up onto his top bunk, and lied there, gazing at the ceiling as each light in each cell went out one at a time. Eventually, his cell light went out, the room succumbing to darkness. He slept.

Map Maker sat up from the ground as he saw a new prisoner taken in. Another one? he thought to himself. It's been a while since he's seen a new uniform. Practically every uniform was dirty or torn in some way. Even his own, which was inevitable since he's been there so long. As the other pony walked through the front door, Maker sat down. He never really did anything in the courtyard. He knew nobody as a friend there, as he was quite paranoid. However, he knew that it was always a little safer if there was someone you could trust in a place like this.

I like the little bouncing effect it has. It makes it look very bouncy. Entertaining. Adorable. Yeah.

Holy balls, Batman!1 I'm posting useless stuff after being inactive! I need to become clever again. Coffee dullens my mind. Thing is, I love coffee.

Watching my generation, listening to popular music, and dead cats, hit by cars. Es so sad. Especially the dead cats. ;-;
