  1. I consider Celestia to be the most kind hearted in the whole series who is helpful to teach Twilight Sparkle, a royal highness. And Twilight Sparkle is a grateful pony who tries her best for princess Celestia
  2. True. I am just generalizing what i imagine it to what i see it
  3. Historically he was an anti christian. But i'm not trying to make this post just to make atheists look bad, i am one myself. I just find it somehow workable with the image that says, yeah thats it. What do you guys think http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Bormann Its like if i have met this guy for some reason.
  4. I can sympathize with him there. I was attacked by a hen once at a young age. But i escaped it.
  5. Mine has to be Zelda 2 Link no Bouken. Due to the fact that in the famicom version he just stabs items. Some person on the internet said this should be a valentines card. Well the Japanese Link doesn't agree. Friggin stab it! 7:29 - 7:33 The kid was tied with ropes though in the JP version, in compared to the US/PAL version. So it makes somewhat more sense to free someone, rather than being overly exited and holding the kid in the air like it was an item http://zelda.wikia.com/wiki/Kidnapped_Child 19:26 What's your favorite moment from a Zelda game!
  6. Well, Link did pray and made that cross sign when he read "The Book of Mudora" to enter into a building, by making the three blocks move to enter that place. Actually inside there was suppose to have "The Star of David". But was censored and changed into a gibberish symbol Atleast from Japanese to English version Source: http://tcrf.net/The_Legend_of_Zelda:_A_Link_to_the_Past#Regional_Differences Original http://tcrf.net/File:LTTPMiseryMireTileJ.gif Changed one http://tcrf.net/File:LTTPMiseryMireTileU.gif Its not force if its fact or was intended too. Its just fun that it had christian themes in the game from the beginning before it became neutral fantasy. Like i'm not getting offended because they changed from "The Bible" to "The Book of Magic". I just thought, no thats just wrong in a sense of that the bible is considered a holy book, and that book of miracles would be a better fitting word. Because magic is frowned upon in the monotheistic understanding. Its like taking matters into its own hand, while in christian understanding that would be miracle, since you need god to help you. So i just had a better PR suggestion than book of magic. I don't get how people feel forced with religious themes in a game I think thats pretty awesome. I myself don't believe in God. I don't know how much ups and downs there are between Atheists and Christians in USA. But i think its pretty cool that it has medieval christian theme in this game to be honest. Its like i feel religious for a Zelda game, y'know in a fun sense lol
  7. I don't even like this game that much, have tried both famicom and nes. I prefer famicom due to how cool the sound effects and music is in that game (And a lack of censorship in some cases). But what puzzles me is that after i have beaten the game once, suddently the temple location changes? For example. I know where Dungeon Level 2 is in the first playthrough. But for some reason its not there when i use the same savefile, its only a pool of water now where the temple stood. Level 1 dungeon are still there though, but i feel that the others is either switched or vanished? (When one beat the game once then the game gives you the option of starting over from the same savefile), Do you guys know why that is. Is it gone, or is it somewhere else. Curious to hear what you know
  8. I agree that it started to fade away when Wind Waker came(Think they experimented on Majora's Mask too with that). Thats when i think Nintendo was like "Screw it, lets just focus mostly on fantasy and fun stuff now in Zelda games, while before it was mostly medieval cool stuff.
  9. Probably some nerds trying fit their story wishes into it with some convoluted heir legacy crap
  10. Zelda games don't have timeline. Its not Metal Gear Solid to say the least. Each game differs from that and that. There is no timeline in Zelda games, with exceptions of Zelda 1-2 or Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. But usually its a new game and a new story in each one. Kinda like GTA. No connection, just the same formula with new stuff. Steal cars, drive planes and do missions with another character. Unless it is like GTA Vice City and Vice City Stories The triforce was representing. The father, the son and the holy spirit. Trinity in their world. Which in Zelda story is the three goddesses. True story
  11. I think Nintendo just gave up on christianity after Ocarina of Time. That's probably the last time it mixed it into a Zelda game. Y'know. Temple of Time, pretty much a cathedral. I mean they did pay some sort of tribute to that in Twilight Princess, but not much Zelda games are like that anymore. I think that was the last one. It seems it has put a different approach from Skyward Sword and outwards. I think with Wind Waker was were they started with all different mixture of fantasy, without focusing on medieval periods in Zelda games. Its a shame though, i really enjoyed the medieval Zelda games to be honest ^^
  12. Wow i didn't know that http://zelda.wikia.com/wiki/Christianity I loved "Zelda: A Link to the past" game. Its one of my favorite games of all times on SNES. I mean i kinda knew that the guy in the sanctuary with glasses and hat was a priest, and hearing that music and seeing the red banner reaching for the alter and the benches, and the music in the background. I was thinking that this was a church. But i kinda feel its insulting calling the bible to book of magic. I mean atleast change it to book of miracles. Since magic is something oneself does, while miracle in theological monotheistic understanding is something that god does for you. Other Source: http://zelda.wikia.com/wiki/Book_of_Magic http://zelda.wikia.com/wiki/Cross http://zelda.wikia.com/wiki/Valley_of_Death Now i suddently feel religious for a Zelda game I mean this game is great!

    gaming Playstation gaming

What's interesting is how the first game differs from the 2 games after that in the ps2 era. Like the 1st sly game is more like an adventure game. While 2 and 3 have more of a sneaky mission mode game. So i kinda think those parallels are pretty cool Heard of the movie, but not checked it out.
  14. Does anypony like PS2. I usually play Sly from time to time. I mean there are some games i used to like that i don't seem to play anymore. I've favored mostly PS1 games. But i enjoy "Soul Calibur 3". You can create Hitler in custom character mode and Solid Snake which i often do when playing it, its good for a laughter. And i love the chronicles mode, where you can have so many character and attack each city to try and win and get tons of items and cash. And Sly is just awesome. I kinda disliked the PS3 Sly 4 version, i dunno it just seemed odd to me. But Sly 1 is kinda interesting adventure game, while Sly 2 and 3 is just awesome sneaking missions. I think you will like Sly 3 more if you try Sly 2 first Otherwise this is what i like on PS1: Ape Escape 1(Not so much the ones on PS2, i mean the third was kinda cool but the second was not so much. I favor the first one over all, just so much awesomeness"Just a reminder if you play "Ape Escape 1" on PS1. Do not play the US version, play the UK version(PAL version). It has better voices and feels much better). Crash Bandicoot 1(2 and 3), Spyro 1-3. Oddworld 1 and 2. Mega Man X6, Lomax, Rayman. Its just so much awesome games. I feel that due to how icky the newer gaming consoles have with the dashboard, i feel that even if i can enjoy a game, i simply can't enjoy the overall wrecking social media construct it has. I think PS1 and PS2 is awesome. Mostly PS1, but PS2 has its fair share of great stuff too. While PS3 feels gimicky. Can't really brag about it. PS4 so far feels to construct a social media just like Xbox One. I'll just wait and see. I mean if you see a game you want to try, then just do it i say Either way, what Playstation games do you people like!
  15. Not in Ponyville. Its a small peaceful place. Where everypony knows each other, so it doesn't need police to look after itself
  16. Its probably some evil enchantment. Celestia is the most caring and kind hearted guardian of Equestria. They would figure out how to help Celestia, just as Celestia helps them
  17. Rarity a mule. She doesn't deserve that
  18. On a journey for a Cutie Mark with the Cutie Mark Crusaders
  19. Its so cool . Always helping out the "Cutie Mark Crusaders"
  20. I don't think i've been to a place where i've loved the MLP series or the people of it. There's vast people here with different view and opinion. But i love hearing their thoughts and opinion. Its like everyone is one with all. Everypony has a heart of gold
  21. I have Steam. I was new when i first came here to MLP forums, and haven't watched it before a polite person introduced me to it. But if anyone wanna be a mail pal. Or discuss pony interests or anything, then ask away. I'd love to hear whats on your mind
